It took a picture throwing a 2 hitter. Id have to say that I was hating the move pinch hitting for Lynn but it worked out for us. With hit, walk, good play by Wong and then passed ball.

I saw Perez this spring. He had/has a real weird swing IMO. I wasn’t a big fan of them.

Bccran- The players aren’t playing well, but Matheny is repeatedly making bad game decisions and not putting players in the best position to succeed. He was hired as he was a “Leader of Men” but whatever quality he had may not be around anymore. He obviously doesn’t have the clubhouse anymore. If a manager is bottom 5 in tactics and can no longer lead the players it’s time for a chance.

We could have worked to improve this year, or improve for the future. We did neither. If they want to resign Lynn that’s one thing but if he walks and we just get a 2nd round pick that should be the last straw regarding Mo’s and his job.

This OF thing has me perplexed. I’ve liked and supported Pham for so long and I do think he’s for real. But it’s possible his eyes get worse again and he slips. Grichuk is what he is but that power is tantalizing. Fowler will do better but won’t match is year last year and could hold back other OF prospects. Piscotty has to be better than what he is this year but is he as good as he was last year? Going forward not sure who we get the most value from trading and who we want to keep.

I don’t think this is the year a marginal upgrade in the bullpen. If Lynn isn’t traded or extended then it just shows the team is ok with being an average team. We are decent team that really has no chance going against the upper tier teams in the NL as things currently are.
