ParticipantDoes anyone have any updates on some of the injured pitchers the system has had throughout the year? I’m thinking mainly Henderson, Clarke and Dutkanych.
June 24, 2026 at 2:14 pm #310900Great ?
June 24, 2026 at 4:50 pm #310911Dutkanych has been pitching and pitched as recently as 3 days ago at Palm Beach.
Clarke was one in a Wednesday with Walton Kyle has said would be ramping up for a recovery next month. Ixan may have been in that same bucket.
June 24, 2026 at 10:31 pm #310970Yeah, Ixan Henderson is in that same bucket. Rotation help is on the way but it might not arrive in time to get the Cardinals a playoff game.
June 25, 2026 at 11:12 am #310999On the Wednesday with Walton, Kyle also said Clarke was reaching 100.
June 25, 2026 at 11:53 am #311000Unless it’s Hunter Dobbins it won’t arrive. Lol

ParticipantWhy don’t you think Matthews will get the call? He’s been better the last month.
June 25, 2026 at 6:55 pm #311028Mautz and Mathews could help us year. After Dobbins, of course.
June 26, 2026 at 2:25 am #311055I am curious when Clarke begins his rehab if he will show improved command. There were some who thought the high walk rate he experienced after his promotion might have been related to his blisters. That would make sense.
June 26, 2026 at 7:38 am #311062I believe Dutkanych and Graham are piggybacking each other at Palm Beach. Both went 3 innings each last time out.
June 26, 2026 at 11:57 am #311085Apparent setback for Hjerpe as he is being returned to the FCL from Palm Beach for rehab.
June 26, 2026 at 2:07 pm #311093Really? Wow Hjerpe just can’t throw a baseball without his arm falling off.
June 26, 2026 at 3:25 pm #311098I was wondering when he (Hjerpe) only went 8 innings last time out.
June 26, 2026 at 3:27 pm #311099Why don’t you think Matthews will get the call? He’s been better the last month.
Better than what? His last two outings totaling 9 innings he gave up 7 walks and 3 homers.

ParticipantThose 3 Homers were the only 3 hits he gave up in the last 2 games. At some point they need to see what he can be in the MLB and work on command after the season.

ParticipantSaw Sem Robberse’s rehab start in Palm Beach today. He was impressive. Looking more into him do you believe the team still sees him as a prospect?

I doubt it matters. Robberse began his pro career with the BJs in 2019, so this is his 8th pro year. It seems like he won’t be around too much longer.

ParticipantHe pitched in AAA for the Blue Jays in 2023, Spent part of a year in Memphis in 2024 and only a few starts before needing TJ. We liked him enough to get him in a trade.
June 29, 2026 at 4:35 am #311366Robberse remains a possibility. There is little to lose continuing him as a starter. Although any future he has probably is in the bullpen. He may work out as Rajcic did.

cardsfan64ParticipantAny word on how Zack Thompson is doing and when he might be able to go on a rehab assignment? He could really help on the left side out of the pen if/when Jo Jo gets traded.
