KeepComingBackParticipantLib just looks so composed. It’s so huge if he keeps this up-if this is who he is.

KeepComingBackParticipantI knew immediately after that play we would win the pennant.

KeepComingBackParticipantSchmidt was KingKong. Also involved in my favorite Cardinal play ever.
Read the whole article. It’s interesting.https://www.baseball-reference.com/bullpen/1982_Philadelphia_Phillies

KeepComingBackParticipantThat’s 22% of our offense wasted Z. And one of them isn’t Good D. We are riding it out with these 2 just not both at the same time.
May 11, 2025 at 2:59 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #41 thread – Sunday, May 11 at Washington Nationals #281776
KeepComingBackParticipantThe other thing about Scott is he has that athletic build without being muscle bound and injury prone.
May 11, 2025 at 2:47 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #41 thread – Sunday, May 11 at Washington Nationals #281770
KeepComingBackParticipantATM If you can pencil ✏️ me in for 6-6 the next 12 I will take it.
May 11, 2025 at 2:43 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #41 thread – Sunday, May 11 at Washington Nationals #281767
KeepComingBackParticipantContreras would be better at cleanup. But Nolans still 6 with Herrera 5. The argument for leaving Noot at leadoff, for me, is not messing with the success Scott2 has had out of the 9 hole. Young players can press when put in more prominent lineup positions.

KeepComingBackParticipantI’m not unhappy he finally had a couple Xtra bade hits. I hope he continues it. But look at ALL the power #’s rbi ops slg rbi and Noot is handily ahead of him. And it’s not like he’s in a slump. That’swho he is now.

KeepComingBackParticipantVictor Scott II is a tough hardnosed player. He didn’t wait for them to developement him. Did all the dirty work to make himself valuable. Even when he isn’t hot at the plate brings a lot to the table.
May 11, 2025 at 1:37 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #41 thread – Sunday, May 11 at Washington Nationals #281753
KeepComingBackParticipantI like Noot fine at leadoff. I hate Arenado at cleanup. Hit him where he deserves to be. 6,7,8.
May 11, 2025 at 1:01 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #41 thread – Sunday, May 11 at Washington Nationals #281744
KeepComingBackParticipant.
I can envision a day when Scott and Winn are 1 and 2 in the Cardinal lineup terroizing opposing catchers. Whitey Herzog would like these two
They should do it now and bat Noot cleanup.
KeepComingBackParticipantHopefully Walker and Gorman don’t continue to regress. If they do, we are in need of power prospects. Drafting for need is a recipe for regret and failure.
May 10, 2025 at 3:38 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #40 thread – Saturday, May 10 at Washington Nationals #281639
KeepComingBackParticipantI didn’t think this team was going anywhere. Vic Scott and Libby are starting to change my mind, as they have the complexion of this team.

KeepComingBackParticipantCIF if he can hit bring him on down!

KeepComingBackParticipantIs Herrera ready to catch? If so it’s Herrera behind the plate. Gorman at second Donovan lf and Burleson dh. Noot rf. If not Herrera sits Pages c. I guess.

KeepComingBackParticipantBurly I’m sorry for all the trash I’ve been throwing at you.

May 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #37 thread – Tuesday, May 6 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates #281310
KeepComingBackParticipantVic Scott is making me feel good about the near future. I already like Noot Donny and I think Winn is our best player. If Herrera blossoms and Westherholt arrives at the end of the year, we have hope. Manager?
KeepComingBackParticipantI agree with you Mud. Don’t compromise a young pitchers development for short term need at the major league level. Really, any player. Not just pitchers. But Mo’s done it over and over.
KeepComingBackParticipantWell I guess they don’t prioritize Graceffo’s developement. They used him like a reliever. Let’s see if they leave him up here.
May 5, 2025 at 8:38 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #36 thread – Monday, May 5 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates #281262
