I guess last night’s loss was so upsetting to watch nobody wanted to post a comment for 10 hours.

Even if you are a team that isn’t going to spend a ton and hire up all the stars, you can still be a team that does everything right.

Yeah it was stink, stank, stunk for sure.

    Maybe today will be better.

Get back to .500 at 72-72 and keep hoping for a hot 10 day run because unless you are horrible you’re never out of the ‘playoff race’.

It’s working as intended I suppose as all but a handful of teams can claim they are in contention fur a playoff spot and playing ‘meaningful games’ in September.

Bad defense and poor fundamentals is more upsetting to me than anything else. I changed the channel.

Leahy should have a lot of friends and family at this one. Hope he keeps up the good work.

I should have turned if off too KCB. I was appalled the whole time and seriously it was bad for my health.

Just a heads up, we are going to get tired of seeing Bernal behind the plate.

Well, an E4 and a difficult but catchable ball not caught in LF and its 1-0 bad guys. Now 2-0 after the first. Leahy at 26 pitches. Not sure what pitch count he’s on.

I also noticed on the E4 throw that ended up in the dugout, Bernal was about halfway down there, at a jog. Nobody not named Yadi would be in position to save that, but the lack of effort to be in position is noted. By me at least. Noticed it yesterday which is why I was paying attention to where he was. Obviously, nothing was said to him, which means there is no expectation.

Church with the RBI and takes second on lazy fielding. Nice.

Leahy out in third after 55 pitches. Should have come out at 45.

Nice inning. Everything around the edges, nothing down broadway. I didn’t expect that.

You guys are going to really like Hjerpe. He makes left handed batters often look so silly. Up until this season, he’s been one of the most dominant pitchers I’ve ever seen in a Minor League uniform – at least when he’s on. I’m glad they called him up to get at least a taste of the big leagues.

Wow, the Rox CF does an Olé on a short hopper and opens the flood gates for us.

Carrigg will catch some major league heat from his skipper on that play. You can’t be afraid of the ball……have to stay in front of the ball…..that was pure Pony League play……and now the flood gates are wide agape as Gorman throttles a 2 run bomb to center and it’s 7-5 El Birdos.

I take back what I was thinking about Gorman at the plate. He knocked one outta here to take the lead. Tip of the hat to ya NG.
