We came into tonights game w/4 relievers on two days rest. Gomber would have made 5.
Hudson was one of them, with norris, ponce and mayers throwing last weds.
Mines a half-beaner pugs. 36yrs now she’s been putting up w/me.

This should help keep Jose Martinez off the infield (i hope). 4th outfielder is better than spot starts at 1B.
He’s pitching all the righty bats the same. Fastballs inside, sliders away. Have to be willing to use RF on those sliders.
Munoz can handle righty sliders away, and many young batters can’t.
Even Gyorko still struggles with sliders away.Here at the house we call him Chris (Carpenter) Flaherty.
He’s got that bulldog demeanor and reserves the right to get mad and throw inside.

This past offseason Brian informed me that stl had club control of Mikolas beyond his 2yr contract.
Did new information become available since then to change his expected FA status?Which made me wonder about Shreves status. I see 3 seasons where he’s been optioned down. Likely out of options.

Our D is so VERY poor, and its not like we are sacrificing D for a stacked lineup.
