With the DSL season ending today, Malcom Nunez won the league Triple Crown despite missing nearly half the season due to being a July 2nd signing. He finished the year hitting .415 with 13 homers and 59 RBI. #STLCards

I can’t speak for others, but here are my catching prospect rankings by position as of now:
1. Knizner
2. Kelly
3. Herrera
4. Ortega
5. Rodriguez
6. Soto
7. JacksonThe rest is organizational depth.
Cabrera has been assigned to Springfield, but until he arrives there, he listed as a reserve along with Ramirez.

Here is a report I got on Delvin today: Struggles to command the strike zone. Doesn’t make adjustments. Above-average runner and glove at SS gives him a chance to be an everyday player. Hit tool is biggest question mark. May eventually grow into a gap-to-gap hitter but his body strength and durability are concerns.
Roache would be more interesting if the Cardinals were an AL team but heckuva find for a minor league free agent. Nogowski can hit, albeit with moderate power as a first base only type which limits his value.
Urias, Edman, and Thomas all have a chance to be reserves at the ML level. I think Edman and Thomas could be everyday players on a non-contending club. Mieses is interesting because of his power but has yet to translate development into results at Double-A (struggled mightily with Tulsa in 2017).
Pitching-wise, Jones and Tewes should pitch in the big leagues at some point in the next few years, barring injury. Not sold on O’Reilly, Shew, and Warner having the stuff to pitch in higher levels. I really like Latcham. He will help their bullpen, for sure. Look past the numbers, but Santos has a major league arm.
Oviedo is still young, but he’s a project. I’m less concerned with Seijas given his age. I think he will come up to the level of the league by the end of the season and perhaps be ready for Palm Beach next year. Although, repeating Peoria wouldn’t hurt for either because this is their first time in a full-season/cold-weather league.
