Mikolas throwing smooth 96…
There is no god…
Dexter at .077. It’s up to you…
Wow we escaped. Votive candle still lit. Can one of the .150 hitters do something? Walk, bunt put some pressure on the bases?
Walk Donaldson
Freeman hitting about .125. Walk him? HR in Atlanta
Wolfe squeezing us pretty bad now…
Can Helsley come back out? Mikolas?
Is that square the strike zone or something?
To Shildt’s credit, he doesn’t have a single position player all star on this team…
I think I see a closer… Lighting my votive candle in front of my David Freese statue now…
7th + 8th = 6 outs on what, 12 pitches? Weak ass contact.
Strike zone for the Injuns has been 3 inches lower than ours…
It ain’t.. over..yet. Can someone get on ahead of Goldy/Ozuna? Should DeJong bat left handed?
Come on Miller get this guy…
Best regular season defense has turned into the worst postseason defense…
Fowler, Wong, Edmond, Molina and DeJong all hitting < .185 Can’t win many games with 5 starters sub .200.
One bad pitch an out goes Hudson. Fowler, Wong and Dejong can’t buy a hit for a month…
And then an error on Carp. Hudson deserves better. Jebus Ozuna almost with the trifecta error.

Last 7 days = .042
Last 14 days = .100
Last 28 days = .167September 29, 2019 at 2:16 pm in reply to: StL 2019 Game 162 thread: Sun 9/29 vs. Cubs: NLC Champs #109282I’m not worried about Jack, I worry about whether we can get him more than 1 run.
Of course I don’t get Fox right now because of Direct TV and will need to go to the bar. Maybe that’s what I need as the stress of watching millionaires strike out 12 times a game is nauseating. The reality is we didn’t have a single offensive All Star on the team. 0 margin for error and Cubs can play loose. I just had to go back and watch You Tubes of beating the Dodgers in games 5 & 6 of ’85. I feel a little better now…
Fowler at leadoff strikes out 12 times over 3 games? We need a leadoff hitter. Fowler ( like many on this team ) have more Ks than hits. It hard to watch…
Well we didn’t exactly light it up against Mills 65 mph curve ball last series. Not sure how back to back years Milwaukee finishes the season with all the last place teams in the NL who threw in the towel at the deadline. Cincy didn’t play Suarez and they were down to their 4th place catcher and the CF was out too. Cards are the only team above .500 that the Brewers have played since September 7.
That escalated quickly.. down 9 – 5.
