1982 willie
Participantmiller, a left hander who cant get left handed batters out.
October 7, 2019 at 5:00 pm #110570I was scared for a second there. Let’s get these bats going
I’m going to choose to enjoy this playoff baseball rather focus on manager. We have nine outs and hopefully we can get something done

Participantman that was close.
October 7, 2019 at 5:00 pm #110572Bases loaded 2 innings in a row is just asking for it. I’m already lookin’ for my paper bag!
October 7, 2019 at 5:01 pm #110573It ain’t.. over..yet. Can someone get on ahead of Goldy/Ozuna? Should DeJong bat left handed?
October 7, 2019 at 5:02 pm #110574Let’s score 1 here, 1 in the 8th, and Cmart come in for a 1-2-3 9th. Trying to stay optimistic.
October 7, 2019 at 5:03 pm #110575DeJong should bunt. At least the ball would travel further.
October 7, 2019 at 5:03 pm #110576Strike zone for the Injuns has been 3 inches lower than ours…
October 7, 2019 at 5:06 pm #110577Just one damn blunder after another
October 7, 2019 at 5:06 pm #110578Is it grim yet?
October 7, 2019 at 5:06 pm #110579That was a hell of a time for your first postseason ab. Where wad Munoz?
October 7, 2019 at 5:06 pm #110580Did they grease Azorenas bat again?
October 7, 2019 at 5:07 pm #1105817th + 8th = 6 outs on what, 12 pitches? Weak ass contact.
October 7, 2019 at 5:07 pm #1105821982 willie
Participantwell that was pitiful
October 7, 2019 at 5:11 pm #1105831982 willie
Participantits really sad. fowler had shown he had turned the page this year and actually looked good a lot of times. but the last few weeks of the season plus playoffs he just had reverted back to last year fowler.
October 7, 2019 at 5:12 pm #110584Not to worry, if Coleman and Smith can get on then McGee can double them on. Oh sorry I had a momentary flashback..
October 7, 2019 at 5:13 pm #110585Counsell will get a lot of Manager of the Year votes considering how bad his pitching was and that he lost his MVP and kept winning. Snitker’s team won 97 games, having improved in each of the last three years. Martinez in DC will also get some votes. Shildt will finish third or fourth, I predict.
October 7, 2019 at 5:15 pm #110586Helsley fans the side in the eighth. Chop that, Braves!
October 7, 2019 at 5:15 pm #110587Helsly impresses. We’re running out of time.
October 7, 2019 at 5:16 pm #110588I think I see a closer… Lighting my votive candle in front of my David Freese statue now…
October 7, 2019 at 5:17 pm #110589It Shildt doesn’t win it then it is a joke.
October 7, 2019 at 5:20 pm #110590To Shildt’s credit, he doesn’t have a single position player all star on this team…
October 7, 2019 at 5:22 pm #1105911982 willie
Participantwell since I feel the cardinals underperformed most of the year, I think it would be a joke if shildt did get it but meaningless conversation right now. can we get a big hit
October 7, 2019 at 5:23 pm #110592doesnt really matter what happens now. If cards dont come back they lose, if they do comeback cMart comes in and gives lead back
October 7, 2019 at 5:23 pm #110593Do not understand Wong’s thinking in this one. He struck out the first two times up. We need base runners. Why in the world would he not at least try to bunt his way on in either of the last two ABs?
That was the part of his game that really got him going this year, but he has abandoned it in this post season.
