No, it is not stupid…it is the correct thing to do. If we had more than one LH bat available in the OF he likely would not be playing there but we don’t.
He is an adequate outfielder and when he plays there it is obviously for his left-handed bat. Why is that so hard for some to comprehend.

I tend to think the Cubs need a cushion coming into St. Louis for the last series of the year. If they don’t have a lead they will not win the division.
