His numbers look pretty suck…. We already have guys that be a cut below average…
So has Mikolas. Their numbers are about the same.
We dont need more of the same trash. Mo needs to take the trash out and dump it and get us some real playahs up in here.
The Reds won over Arizona last night 8-7 in 11 innings. The Reds got three runs in the 10th and Arizona got three in the last of the 10th. The key in the last of the 10th was when McClain let a DP grounder go right through his legs at 2ndbase. RIGHT THRU HIS LEGS!
Anyway, the Reds won because the DBacks pitcher – Crismatt – committed a balk in the top of the 11th with two outs.
Quite a game. At least the Reds games mean something.
May need to switch to the Reds Rats.At least the uniforms look about the same. Maybe our baby birds (now a 4A team has found their true colors-baby blue!

3B T. Motter RAfter that first rate thrashing they endured yesterday it’s nice to see Manny back in there. I’d like to see him moved up in the order, but the Redbird manager’s obviously providing some protection for Palacios.
I wish you guys would stop it. Instead of birds on the bat, I’m seeing Rosie O’Donnell on a bat, and is a very disturbing visual.
So Edman leads it off with a double. Now lets see some sound fundamentals. The lefty should be able to pull one to the right side and advance him to 3rd with less than 2 outs.
Now Edman gets caught too far off second on an infield grounder. Unbelievable NOOTBLAN. So now its a runner on first and two outs.
So it ends with a routine grounder, and we get nothing. I’ve seen a half inning so far and am already disgusted by the bungling and failure to execute.
Now we see how Rom does.
Next guy hits a single to CF, but wait, Palacios brought his rubber glove and turns it into a man on second. E8.
Ricky Horton mentioned that the Cardinals have lost by more than 10 runs three times in the last 8 games. First time that has happened since 1908.
Rom gets out of the 1st only down 1-0, but he’s at 26 pitches. Lets see if we can get basic competence out of the offense in the 2nd.
Three strike outs in three tries isn’t the competency I was hoping for. So now we see if Rom can keep it close.
A little noise but no further harm. Rom at 49 pitches after 2. By current standards, he’s doing ok so far. In other words, got through 2 without getting blown out.
