Too bad we still don’t have the PM feature, as I could send you my email address and password so you could watch all the action, Forschster.
We lost a no-no and we lost a game, but look at the bright side…..we gained a friend. Welcome aboard, CardinalBabe1982!!! I have a good feeling that CardinalBabe1982 is going to be a dandy!
Speaking of a “no-no”, what would be it’s opposite? That’s right….a “yes-yes”. And I think yes-yes would adequately describe our bullpen…..every opposing dugout certainly must have 25-30 guys saying “yes-yes”! as any and every Cardinal reliever trots on out to take the hill. But again, looking on the bright side, we see it time and time again in baseball where a team’s dismal bullpen one year is transformed into an elite group the next. However, it’s much much tougher to turn around a starting rotation quickly….just look at the cubbies.
Case closed gang. Just for the record, I was fond of MM…..but then I loved Vern Rapp with a passion too as a youngster.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m still a titch cloudy on how Cranny feels about MM, both as a manager and a person. Anyone care to put in 200 words or less?
Boy I hate that franchise and their fans….and that wimpy “Go cubs Go” song they bellow out after each win in Wrigley. It’s going to make my season to see those chaps go down in post season play.
He just missed getting the meat of the bat on it, NJ, or your 7-5 would have been a happening thing.
Now 2011seemsforever in house! This is like All-Star poster game here today….minus yours truly of course. Next thing you know, MagnoliaCardinal, Nathan or DizzyDean17 is going to waltz in here today.
Five to tie and six to seize the lead. Stranger things have happened.
CardinalInFrance in attendance too! Too bad our Birds are getting belted or we would be really having a ball.
“Oh look an error”…..I have no idea why, but that made me howl, NJ!!! Must have been funny, because I usually can’t muster even a smile while the cubbies are pelting us.
How can we not come back with Euro now in the house! Oh oh…
Contreras just makes it 5-2 on a base knock to left. Now Gyorko just airmails a throw to 1st and ince again we witness an unnecessary extended inning! He’s still ready to rock in prime time, NJ. Schwarber whiffs for the third time this afternoon, but he sure hurt us with that go ahead dinger earlier.
If anyone can redeem themselves under these rough circumstances, it’s you NJ315!!! Let’s see a bit of magic.
What school, Cranny.
If I were in the stands right now I’d be standing up repeatedly shouting “Bring up Schrock The Rock”!! Think they’d cart me off?
Let’s give this Jesse Chavez hurler a warm welcome to the Windy City shall we…….how about 3 or 4 runs worth of welcome.
Thank God Carp was playing 1st and not Jose on that high throw by Mayers….the cubbies would be still circling the bases as we speak.
If we do indeed lose this one, you just have to give GG ( that’s “Game Goat” to the layman ) honors to NJ315…. this one is on you man!!
Wish I knew how to use that darn quote feature! It used to be so so easy.
One might call that “Carpe diem”, NJ315.
You know you’re hot when the opposing team’s fans cheer loudly when you routinely ground out, as what Carpenter just experienced in his last at bat.
That is on you NJ!!!
We have one big problem though gentlemen…… NJ315 and stlcard25 are seldom wrong.
Wish I still had Mikolas’ hairline…just might lower my wife’s saying “No” ratio a bit.
Sure was close….so close that if we were playing in St. Louis today, that ball is most likely called foul.
Tie ballgame on the Contreras shot just fair down the left field line….a friendly carom to Ozuna prevents the batter from taking up residence at 2nd. 2-2.
