Looks like Booyah has a major league din-din on tap this evening.

Pallante works around a 2 out Corbin Carroll double to once again keep Arizona off the scoreboard. We head to the 5th

Looks like Cardinal in France may be burning the midnight oil in the south of France this evening. What time is it there, CIF?

A win here elevates Pallante’s win total to 11, which if my calculations are correct, puts him smack dab at accruing 19 wins on the season.

Drey Jameson the new Diamondbacks hurler. Hopefully we can treat this fellow just as rudely as we did to their starter. Nootster stepping to the plate for the second time this inning…..wouldn’t that be something to see him 3 times this inning. Noot whacked it right on the button, but unfortunately right in the vicinity of their left fielder.

“The Ferminator” spanks a base hit to right that will send the Arizona Ace to the showers after 68 pitches.

Burly blisters a liner into center that’s going to mushroom the St. Louis advantage to 5-0…..still just 1 out.

Herrera just swung at ball 4 on a full count……and it works to our benefit as on the next pitch Ivan lines a single to right with JJ scooting around to 3rd……now Walker ramrods a long one to left and that baby is……off the top of the wall and bouncing back into play…..in trots JJ with Herrera applying the brakes at 3rd and just like that the Cardinals have plated 3 and definitely looking to enhance that total this inning.

Now JJ continues the 3rd inning with an rbi base hit to left. 2-0 Birds and looking to add more now that we have “Rodreego” on the ropes……gotta pound him while we can.

Indeed Booyah, this one will be a toughie to score more runs than the opposition. Jimmy Lee Crooks seems to be finding his swing with the big club, so hopefully we’ll see him getting an at bat or two. Fermin has been a pleasant surprise to me and if anyone has a decent shot of success vs “Rodreego” (Eduardo Rodriguez) today, it’s “The Ferminator”.

And I think I speak for many around here with this burning question for Rat…..hey Rat, you often make reference to you enjoying a heaping bowl of Turkey Hill vanilla bean ice cream. Do you add anything to it? I love adding a big gob of Jiff peanut butter to my vanilla bean ice cream. And if I’m really feeling frisky, I go all out and also add mass quantities of Hershey’s chocolate syrup, fresh banana chunks and Planters cocktail peanuts.

Let’s hope we get the good Dustin May today…….you know, the one who tossed a 1 hit complete game shutout vs San Diego and handcuffed Brewer batters in both appearances against Milwaukee…..and not the bad Dustin May that got royally tattooed in Atlanta and Kansas City.

Din-din today will be a return trip to The Del-Bar up in the Wisconsin Dells. You know those cheap flimsy lobster tails that so many establishments like Red Lobster serve. Well that’s not what you get at The Del-Bar. For only $70 you get 2 big fresh plump tasty lobster tails and all of the fixings.

O’Brien with the SAVE……5-4 your merry final. We pick up a full game on the cubbies who got pelted at home by the Twinkies today 5-2.

Arenado opens their 9th with a walk and then the pinch runner(Vargas) abruptly gets picked off…..how sweet is that!

When you have the bases loaded and no outs, if you don’t score at least 2 runs then you get that empty feeling in your gut……which is what I’m feeling right now. We seized the lead, but also left the door ajar for an Arizona comeback.

Well said, TD. A Herrera sac fly will get Church home safely with the go-ahead tally……and Sewald sent to the showers……and lookie here…..Gassy is now positioned to earn himself his first ML “W”. First things first though as we need some additional insurance.

JJ lines a single to center, hit so hard that Church had to slam on the brakes at 3rd. Bases juiced with nary and out and Herrera at the dish looking to cream one.

Almost looked like Seward wanted no part of Jimmy Lee Crooks in that at bat. Cardinals perched at 1st and 2nd with no outs here in the top of the 9th in an even-steven 4-4 ballgame.

Gassy looks gassed. Not to worry, as I think we’ll all learn to love what Gassy brings to the table once he gets settled in. Tie ballgame……we’ll get these guys tonight.

It takes courage and maybe a bit of craziness to actually enjoy getting whacked on various body parts by 95 mph hard objects. Ron may be urging Angels….not the ones from California, but rather up in heaven, to throw things at him as we speak.

Not probable, but if the Cards win 8 out if their next 10, Bloom is going to be in an unexpected predicament. Doing your best to succeed and never waving the white flag of surrender when there’s still hope are obviously preached by all professional teams. If the Cardinals are playing winning baseball and in serious contention for a playoff slot as the trading deadline draws near, how could the organization throw in the towel and send players packing. If Bloom had made one less off season trade and Sonny was still with us, I think we would quite possibly be looking to add another couple of ML ready pitchers instead of subtracting them.

Condom should be a perfect fit. I’ll have my full analysis of our draft when I have time to dive into matters after the weekend.
