You mean the same positions players that lead the majors in errors? Are you ok with Martinez in RF? Carp at 1B? Gyorko at 3B on a regular basis? Garcia as the utility player? I am sorry this team needs a major overhaul. Carp and Martinez should be the first to be traded followed by Gyorko. Release Garcia don’t even look Adams way, bye Pena. That’s a good start.
He let Pena play the whole game including the honor of making the last out of 2018. If Pena, JMart,Cecil, GGarcia, Fowler, Waino, Norris, Carp, and Gyorko are back in 2019 I will be very angry fan. It is time to clean house like they with the manager and coaching staff. Enough mediocrity for the last 3 years to last a lifetime. Out with the old in with the new. If they don’t revamp the roster whichever way trades or free agents we will see the same for 2019.
They have to beat the Cubs today no options they have to. I don’t care if it takes a different pitcher for each inning just do it!
I am with you Rats, I hope that Carp, Waino, JMartinez, Gyorko, Cecil,Fowler, Adams, GGarcia, Mayers, and Norris don’t come back. But most of them will be back. I can live without Ozuna but he deserves a second chance.
How about they score early and often and take some pressure off the pitchers. If we manage to get in the playoffs that bullpen is not nearly good enough.
It is interesting how BR does it and has disclaimer that states it may be different than official stats. The official stat shows .710 in the last 15 games which is what BR has as the last 28 days. YTD they are both exactly the same .820
