Yeah, I absolutely hate splitting the games up among multiple pay channels.
I buy MLB Extra Innings to get ‘all the games’ but I don’t get ‘all the games’.
I refuse to pay another extra sub fee.

The players can grab Sharpies and write the names on each other’s backs.
I read a blurb that said Carlson will be out ‘several weeks’ so I guess if true that is 3 to 5?

Like Vince Coleman – Hit .200, run .100 = .300, lol
Well, dang. I was holding out hope that somehow Montgomery would still end up a Cardinal again.
Grandma is old but she’s slow.
Scott needs to play so, for as long as he’s here, he needs to start imo.
But good grief at all the injuries before we can even get up opening day….
Amen.
I think the Cards come in second in the 78 to 83 wins range.
I might switch Walker and Carpenter for now then once Nootbar and or Edman return he goes to the bench.
Fixed craps games? That could get a man shot….

Walker improves a lot at the plate and a little bit in the field
Carlson is pretty average and gets injured – opening a spot for Scott
Goldschmidt trends down and Arenado trends back up
The pitching staff shows it age
The rest of the NL Central continues to improve and the Cards miss the playoffs but just barelyCards having a power outage this spring.
Carpenter goes on a tear.
I see both these trends reversing once the games start counting.
Call me a fool but I’m still hoping they can somehow bring Montgomery back into the nest.
It’s $10,000 per pitch if he reaches 100 pitches and if he makes over 30 starts.
You know, when you look at it like that – ain’t no way it’s worth it. For anybody.
It’s beyond ridiculous and there is nobody to blame but us fans that it has gotten to this point.
Just rub some dirt on it – it’ll be fine.
Surely it won’t be that bad…
Well, hell…..
This isn’t college where a coach has to worry about recruiting.
Extending him now does not seem to make any sense.
This seems like a big middle finger to the fans.
Nah, by assuming Edman would be back and ready to go for 2024.
So one injury wipes out the starting CF and the back up SS.
Even with a healthy Edman what happens if Winn just craters offensively and Edman simply has to play there? Now your outfield is thin.
So now Mo has pulled Crawford off the scrap heap to shore up SS and Carlson – a guy that can’t hit RHP is your starting CF.
The Nootbar injury just compounds things in the OF hopefully only for the short term.
The ‘pants down’ comment referred to Edman’s wrist. The ‘again’ part refers to last year’s starting rotation debacle.
I hope Winn stays healthy and hits so that Crawford only plays about once a week or even a little less.
CF is the real issue unless Carlson suddenly figures out how to hit RH pitching…. ugh
Nootbar being out really hurts even more now. Defensively it’s probably going to be rough out there.
Looks like Mo got caught with his pants down yet again.
I could use him for backfill in one of our subdivisions under construction.
He’s like Boog Powell. He’s using ST to play himself into shape.
The old man played yesterday. He’s in the ice tub today.
A Walker/ Saggese tandem in the OF might be ‘interesting’ from a defensive standpoint…
