Lane Thomas in CF, Nolan Gorman in LF, along with Carlson will be a much improved OF next year. Personally I would like to see it this year. Bader / Oneil wasting more time.

Bad as Fowler has been, he was the best we had going into 2021. Carlson a great prospect. bader and oneil Memphis marvels. The worst hitting OF in Team History. Gotta believe after Arenado move there is another move left. Ozuna? Makes a lot of sense. Especially if the DH comes after this year.

Carpenter at DH sounds kinda like Putting Carpenter in the BP. For same reason he fits neither place.

Mays should one of the standards if you are comparing HOF’ers. Shouldn’t this be apples vs apples, not apples vs raisins.

My HOF is for the elite only. I don’t like the fact great players make the HOF when they arent on the same level as a true HOF’er. I will use Jim Rice as an example. Is he on the same level as Willie Mays? Mays is a HOF’er. Rice is a great player. I consider HOF’ers a step above great. Just me.

Politics should have nothing to do with it. Barely 200 wins and no CY. Thats where I look. Really good Pitcher. Not HOF caliber imo. Waters it down more. He uses politics excuse to cover the fact he wasn’t quite good enough.

The Cards have the worst hitting OF that I can recall. I watched Stan by the way. What a mess. Bad decisions. Time for a change upstairs.

Hopefully he goes where he can be appreciated. Hate to see a fielder of his caliber gone. You don’t easily replace that. Defense is too important of a part of the game to just blow off a GG’er. Just remembering 2 years ago. Ugh.

Looks like we are headed back to the 70’s. Keep just enough talent to keep the fans interest. The defensive problems were addressed and now about to revert back.

I see a lot of you mentioning getting rid of Wong and putting Edman at 2B. I thought the idea was to improve the team. No comparison fielding wise. And Wong arguably had a better year at the plate. Money shouldn’t be an issue. Focus needs to be the OF/3B. Don’t mess with the rest.

Same problem as last year. Is a no brainer. Need to replace Carp. His time has come and gone. Bader and O’Neill don’t work out. They had their chance. Enough has been seen. Go get one elite at either third or in the OF. Pay the money. Then fill the other two places with above average players. Not Bader and O’Neill. Ozuna could have been had at a decent price. Gonna be too much now. I’m still hung up on Arenado. His defense and bat fit this lineup so well.

Best lineup they have available at this time, imo.

Bader, O’Neil are wasting lineup spots. Not saying there is better on the roster, but others should be given a chance. These two have proven their worth. Or lack of.

A chocolate malt says that Fowler will have a higher average than Bader at the end of April. Spring Training Averages are just that.

While no Rex Hudler he was better than the likes of Bo Hart and a few dozen others that have made this Team. He always played hard. Appeared to be a good teammate. Not a good decision on his part.
