Keep hearing about all the depth in this OF. You could say that about all Teams in MLB. Depth of above avg talent though is a different story. I see all of the Cardinals Top 10 Of’s at average to below average. Carlson may be above. Hasn’t proven anything yet. A move hopefully is coming. But this OF minus Ozuna is definitely not better. I don’t see Bader getting better. O’Neill the same. Though I see him passing up Bader. Fowler isn’t going to improve with age. I throw Carlson and Thomas in there and see if one or both step up. But w/out a move I don’t see this Team getting there.

Adding Teams to the postseason does nothing to improve the game. Nothing. Feeds some very full pockets. That is all. Need a Baseball guy running Baseball. Not the Owners lawyer. MLB keeps taking hits with every rules change. Go get him outta there now.

What Willie said. Take a game with such great tradition and do what you can to screw it up. A penalty box for making an error comes next.

I think he will have a lot of 6 pitch at bats, ground out to the right side a lot, and hit .197. Whine about strike calls, and shot put a few balls to 1B. He’s 34, and I like him a lot for what he is done. Was a bad contract and you have lived with it long enough. Eat the salary and trade for what you can get.

Looking at it in a different light. I would take Arenado/ Dejong over Lindor/Carpenter.

Bader is what he is. Billy Hamilton with power and defense is a pretty handy player to have around. Elite bench player, and injury replacement. Bader / Edman a start to a good bench.

Add Arenado, bring back Ozuna and you are there.
