FYI here,
Some showers went through the Cincinnati area a while ago but they seem to have moved on now. According to the Doppler Radar all is clear for tonight’s massacre.Not sure this one will be worth watching but me and Whitey Herdog will be on the couch for first pitch. Along with a 7×50 Palma Real Presidente cigar. That should get me through the first 3-4 innings. After that it will probably be a moot point.
And the WhiteSox down the Cubs today at Wrigley. 3-0 ChiSox your happy final.
Brewers entertain Seattle later tonight at County Stadium in Milwaukee. And FYI, Front Row Amy was in attendance last night.

Get Beat strikes out again in the 10th. I am getting tired of seeing him swing and miss like a maniac. Can’t somebody in the St. Louis organization teach how to bat?????

Taking a gander at the meteorological conditions in Cincinnati for this one yields positive atmospheric results. All clear at Crosley Field for Game One of this Monday DH.
Din-din today will be a couple of baked potatoes, some Allen’s Italian Green Beans, an ice cold slushy Mt. Dew, and a bowl of Turkey Hill Homemade Vanilla ice cream for dessert. Then a 7×50 Palma Real Presidente cigar to finish out the game on the couch with Whitey Herdog.

Something tells me that Baez had a big time plate of Catfish Fiddlers before his debut yesterday. That may account for his power surge.
I wonder if Pugs arranged for him to have them before the game?
I wouldn’t get too excited about Baez.
He may not homer again for another month.
He’s not our savior.
If anybody thinks this Baez kid is going to be the big bat that this lineup needs they better think again.

And today is another CCFF! For any newcomers that’s Cardinals Catfish Fiddlers Friday. I’ll be having some fiddlers out at the Amish restaurant on the lake.

But here in SW Indiana we are getting a downpour. A Noah type deluge at this point. It’s not rained much for the last couple of weeks so this is a good thing. It started about ten minutes before I was going to water the landscaping. Got out of that..:)
