Pham has made it known that he wants top be released so that he can hook up with a real contender….. now that the Cards are out of it. Its funny that he was with a top contender LAD and they got rid of him and shipped him here, Good job Mo. Even funnier is if no one picks him up. He has worn out his welcome so stick a stamp om him and wish him luck. Tell ’em Tommy boy was here….. twice.

In defense of 14NyquisT, Pham apparently did ask out.
Katie Woo wrote that Pham welcomed the news of his DFA and had even discussed such a move with the Cards, as he’ll now have a chance at more regular playing time on another team. If he joins another club before Sunday, Pham will also be eligible for that new club’s postseason roster.
Thanks anyway Pugs and Brian I didn’t boot it I shanked it into the rough two fairways over. Well no harm no foul…..as long as Pham has packed up and is at Lambert waiting to find out which city to head off to. He might have to wait there a long time…. like until next season.

Giulianelli had a fun backstory and was a darling of the new stats guys. But despite all the spin rate and vertical/horizontal break numbers, it got down to the most basic of basics. After five years as a professional, almost all in rookie ball, he still couldn’t consistently throw strikes. I think he was given a fair chance.
Here is an interesting move. With Peoria eliminated, the Cardinals moved Chase Davis up to Springfield after about 10 minutes in the Midwest League. He can play two weeks longer this way. Whether he is ready for Double-A, though, remains to be seen.
