Chandler Redmond has put up big power numbers the last two years and still can’t make it to Memphis. I guess he is blocked by Luken Baker.
LJ Jones was released. I agree on Honeyman and Mejia. Hopefully they quickly move up. I fear Alec Willis may be a lost cause at this point.
Alec Willis has only pitched 12-2/3 innings in the FCL since drafted in 2021. He signed for $1M which was $800K over slot. He just turned 21 on March 30, and he’s not injured now, so there’s still hope. But if he doesn’t pitch his way out of the FCL this year…….

He should be healthy finally. And that’s great news that he may finally get a shot . . . if he stays healthy. He’s still young, but has some catching up to do. I had him out of my top 50 prospects, but somewhere in the next 15 guys just because of health.
I’ve not heard when Middleton or OBrien will start a rehab assignment. I think Middleton threw for the first time in a while recently.
It was funny and a little scary to see Ryan Tepera still on the cards roster, per my ESPN app. With the way the FO has done business lately it made me double check TCN too verify he didn’t get resigned/added again.
We have recalled INF José Fermín and LHP John King from Memphis (AAA).
