Yes, the site was designed (in 2017) first for the computer with two main menus, one menu on the top and the other on the left. Both are easily visible “above the fold”, meaning you don’t have to scroll down to see either of them.
But because phone screens are much smaller, changes had to be made to make everything fit. For mobile devices, the top menu is put under the three horizontal bars at the top right and the left menu appears beneath the page’s main content.
I’d rather have both W With W and the Matrix listed, rather than the Matrix twice and W With W not at all, hence the change I made last week.

March 5, 2024 at 4:18 pm #243406The #STLCards have reduced their Spring Training roster to 58 players. Five of 10 players re-assigned to minor league camp are ranked prospects, including three in the Top 10. Free article at The Cardinal Nation! https://t.co/PWTyO1SLCn pic.twitter.com/EykCsG0ek3

March 8, 2024 at 9:52 pm #243524March 13, 2024 at 2:43 pm #243922I am expecting more cuts from camp at the end of this mini road trip.
March 14, 2024 at 5:22 am #243968So I guess we will see the next round of cuts this morning. We will start seeing more of the regulars and those with a shot at making the roster.
March 14, 2024 at 3:15 pm #24402710 cuts today:
RHP Sem Robberse, RHP Gordon Graceffo, RHP Ryan Loutos, RHP Michael McGreevy, RHP Tekoah Roby, LHP Connor Thomas, catchers Aaron Antonini and Jimmy Crooks, and infielders Arquímedes Gamboa and Jeremy Rivas.
March 18, 2024 at 7:08 am #244413Chances are high they made cuts last night that we will probably hear about tomorrow when everyone is back from the off day today.
Speaking of tomorrow, I’ll be on the back fields with more in-depth news for subscribers…

cardsfan64ParticipantCards drop a few minor leaguers according to the MiLB transaction page:
03/20/24 – Memphis Redbirds released RHP Dalton Roach.
03/20/24 – Springfield Cardinals released RHP Bryan Pope.
03/20/24 – Springfield Cardinals released RHP Logan Sawyer.
03/20/24 – Springfield Cardinals released RHP Logan Gragg.March 21, 2024 at 6:08 pm #244623It’s no secret that we needed to cut some upper level pitchers. Just way too many to get regular playing time at a competitive level. I’m a little surprised about Sawyer. I figured he’d stick around another season. I figured they’d try Gragg out as a reliever before cutting him. He always struck me as a guy who should have been a reliever.

cardsfan64ParticipantSounds like Thompson will be starting and Libby in the pen to start the season.
Cardinals left-hander Matthew Liberatore got good news today. I asked him about his reaction to him and Zack Thompson making the club. #STLCards pic.twitter.com/lURwnkLMf5

March 23, 2024 at 9:25 am #244730I guess there will be plenty of complaints about Scott. I can see both sides. But he only had 1 Xtra base hit in nearly 40 ab’s. Fans are fickle. Bader was villianized (word?) For his weak offense and he was an elite defensive centerfielder. Scott is the flavor of the day. Last year everyone moaned about Winn not making it after a strong camp. Than when he gets here and flounders offensively everyone switches sides. There’s some who are silly enough to think he should be sent back now (Winn) I’m anxious to see Scott play everyday but I think this is the right thing. Get some aaa at bats and focus on obp.

ParticipantI knew Siani would make the roster. It just made sense
March 23, 2024 at 10:46 am #244738My quick (and free) take on the six roster cuts made by the #STLCards, optioning four and reassigning two non-roster players to minor league camp. Five of the six are position players, including our no. 4 prospect, Victor Scott. https://t.co/Wr1rzgxZhl pic.twitter.com/zR5xoUaf22

jj-cf-stlParticipantThe current bench?
(R) Herrera
(L) Siani
(L) Crawford
?If Donovan is in LF, with Carp at DH, do we have a RH bat you like in ST, that can challenge Burly for the last bench spot?
The backup catcher being the last man off the bench, do we roll with three leftie bats off the bench?
March 23, 2024 at 11:20 am #244743Siani will stick around until Noot and/or Edman return. Hopefully he can take advantage of his cup of coffee. I agree it makes more sense for him to be on the bench than it does Scott. Scott needs to play everyday.

It looks like the final bench spot will be between Siani and Fermin, whith Siani holding a slight edge.
March 23, 2024 at 11:38 am #244745
jj-cf-stlParticipantSiani is the backup CF, while Noot and Edman are gone. I don’t see a competition for his bench role, until a CF’r returns.
March 23, 2024 at 11:44 am #244747Good point. Throwing anyone else out their in CF would be a major gamble.
March 23, 2024 at 12:18 pm #244749
jj-cf-stlParticipantYou said the same thing earlier about Siani. I have Burly as the last bench spot (OF5). You had Siani vs Fermin.
March 23, 2024 at 12:18 pm #244750So it appears the position players are set, which means the final roster spot will be in the bullpen. One of King, Pallante, Fernandez, or O’Neill won’t make it.
March 23, 2024 at 2:17 pm #244759PadsFS
ParticipantDo you mean OBryan?
I thought Pallante is obviously on
March 23, 2024 at 3:12 pm #244771Yes I meant O’Brien. Thanks for that.
Pallante probably makes it. One of Fernandez, King, or O’Brien will draw the short straw.
