The reset better not be done but it is not nearly as bad as some make it out to be. We still need to upgrade areas.

The only knock that I have on Scott is his arm. All the other parts of his game looks like he will be very good. If he keeps up what he has done so far this year, he will be in the running for some team MVP votes.
I’m in agreement that we should be seeing more of Pozo and less of Pages. Let’s see whether he can sustain the offense.
Nice throw by Walker to complete that double play. I still believe he will be an above average right fielder eventually.
I was sceptical of Pallante but he’s been good the last two years as a starter. He’s not an ace but he keeps the Cardinals in games.
We needed that double play in the sixth. Time to put some offense together and get some runs across.
That 5th inning was rough. The bunt needed to be just a little farther up the line and Pages is probably safe at third. Noot smoked the ball right at the second baseman.
To me, the Dodgers and the Marlins are both examples of what is wrong with the sport. If the Dodgers aren’t a problem then just contract to 10 teams located in the cities who can afford the team spending that much money. The Marlins are an example of how the revenue sharing is severely flawed. Teams who won’t even try to field a competitive team for years on end while receiving welfare should be contracted or sold.
That is not how K% is figured. It is based on plate appearances. His career K% is less than what you have presented and is currently around 25% this year. That is an improvement. I am still concerned about Gorman’s K rate, however, I am willing to see if he can keep it at 25% or lower this year.
While Gorman should be at 3B, he can play a little 2B, DH and maybe 1B as long as Arenado is hitting decent. I would start Gorman over Burleson at DH most of the time.
CIF, while it is extremely small sample size, Gorman is doing much better this year. He was striking out at around 22% over 56 PAs in spring training and only 1 time in 14 PAs in the regular season. It remains to be seen if this improvement holds up but it is promising.
Scott hit that pretty good but it was right at Wallner. Wallner had a tough play as that was sinking fast.
Scott is looking confident this year.
