Scott has an extremely natural athletic build. I see him as a guy who stays healthy. Has 1 10 day dl oblique strain.

Scott looks like a safety. Rabbits are typically Treat Turner, Mason Winn, Hampson. That’s a big 🐰

He’s listed at 5-11 190 lbs. which is put together in a manner that I’d term rock solid. In addition, I’ve noticed that when he barrels up and connects, he puts a potent charge into the baseball. In any case, he’s a stout young player who possesses natural athletic ability and blazing speed. If he didn’t play baseball, he’d probably take on the athletic persona of what’s termed in the football world as a scat back.

Walker has tight end size and skills and Contreras has linebacker covered, especially his temperament 👀

As expected, the start of the game is delayed by rain.

Once again my Meteorological skills were put to the test. And once again I prevailed against insurmountable odds.

I had seen that the Pirates put a 12-1 beating on the Mets yesterday, but was just now made aware that they swept the 3 game series against the Mets in NY. It might not be the ideal time to play these Pirates at PNC. I wish Pujols was in the lineup…

.374/35/101…We need that from Burleson in the 3 slot tonight.

It appears there is a window coming up that will allow the game to at least get started.

However, there also appears to be another small cell headed towards the greater metropolitan Pittsburgh area. This game might see multiple delays. And have a very late ending.

It might be a good idea to speed it up with some make believe baserunners.

If a second delay is likely, maybe start an opener, rather than burn Fedde.

    Haha…”17 ER’s allowed in 14 IP’ed”…Now he’ll morph into Koufax.

Nothing better for a pitcher than a BB to lead-off a game…Let’s bring him around boys.

Fast Fedde gives up the tater in a hurry in this one.

Man, caught a real nice break to escape that 1st inning down by only 1 run.

This LHP’er for the Pirates has been absolutely murdered in his last 2 or 3 turns. I honestly don’t know how he’s managed to avoid a stay at an infirmary. If you glance at his last couple of outings, you have to wonder how he’s able to walk without assistance…

Missed almost an inning dealing with a solar salesman and I didn’t think I was gone that long. This one is moving fast.

Fedde has only thrown 37 pitches, so far. It seemed like he should have more than that with all the base runners. 1-0 Pirates after 3.
