11 Ragsdale
12 PeeteOctober 26, 2026 at 12:45 pm #321810on my personal Top List, I had Condon 7, Kuhns 9
I’m with Blingboy:
11. Condon
12. KuhnsOctober 26, 2026 at 12:49 pm #321811I was hesitant on Condon. A lot of good stuff can be said about him, but none of it changes the fact he is an undersize outfielder with no power. Still, I give the draft pedigree its due picking Condon and Kuhns here.
October 26, 2026 at 1:09 pm #321812I’m sticking with Sebastian Dos Santos here, now for the next spot I have a bit more competition. I expect Condon to get a lot of votes here, he’s close for me but I’m such a big fan of Tai Peete’s game and I have to give him the edge here. Based on previous votes I’m a bit scared I’m going to be stuck voting for these 2 for a little bit, but Sebastian Dos Santos is a top 10 prospect for me, and Tai Peete edges out the other outfielders (Condon, Frias, and Ragsdale). As for Kuhns I’m lower on him at the moment, and he’s at least below Condon, the other name I considered here was Tekoah Roby, but the injury problems were enough to scare me off, for now.
#11 Sebastian Dos Santos
#12 Tai PeeteOctober 26, 2026 at 1:51 pm #321813#11 Sebastian Dos Santos
#12 Miguel HernandezIn all of the full season minor leagues in 2026, across all 30 organizations, there were just 5 middle infielders who were 18 years old and posted at least a 125 OPS+. The two Birds above, and three other guys who have an average overall prospect ranking of #32 at Fangraphs and #35 at MLB.com.
Dos Santos and Hernandez should both be consensus top 50-60 overall prospects, and top 5 or 6 for the Cardinals.
October 26, 2026 at 1:53 pm #321814#11 Josiah Ragsdale
#12 Alexander FriasOctober 26, 2026 at 3:54 pm #321817There has never hardly been a point of comparison when you could separate SDS and Miguel Hernandez, and I won’t try to here. They are not undersized with only faintly projectsble power like Condon; they are blossoming into full-grown men with real power. Count Padilla in there, too.
Padilla’s injuries aside, he was top ten nationally before he proved the bat was real.
11 SDS
12 Miguel HernandezOctober 26, 2026 at 4:15 pm #32181811 Dos Santos
12 CondonOctober 26, 2026 at 4:20 pm #321819Man, everyone mentioned is right there. I am OK with any of them in these slots. Another top 20 guy IMO is Mason Molina, largely due to proximity and durability. He did OK in his AAA stint, and a guy who can stay on the mound and not get his head knocked off has a chance to learn the art.
October 26, 2026 at 5:01 pm #321820What’s undersized about an 18yo at 5’11”? Or is it a Weight thing?
Do you think this prevents him from being a 60 Grade hitter? Or Running at 70 grade? Or throwing at 55+ grade?
That’s the knock on Condon? Come on…that’s not even a real issue
He’s the good part of a 4 Tool prospect….he can hit and hit well. I’d much rather he have 60 Hit and 45 power, than 40 hit, 55 power.
He’s a future super star
😀
October 26, 2026 at 5:13 pm #321821I love that my top 10 is the Community’s top 10! Slightly different order, but not by much. I also love that we’re all voting for or talking about my next 7 guys (except Ragsdale who I have at 22 and Santana who I’m not quite sure what to do with yet – 23 for the moment but I may do a deeper dive and reconsider).
I’m going with Trevor Condon at 11 based on being a first rounder, his early success (in a teeny sample), and partially from hype. I don’t have any real opinions on him yet. But I trust the front office in choosing him where they did.
I’m ecstatic about number 12 though despite limited observations. I’m going with Miguel Hernandez. Much has been written above about him. He often gets lumped in with Dos Santos since both came through the DSL at the same time and both play mostly SS. I just like Hernandez’s swing and plate approach better. I truly don’t have any real opinions opinion on his fielding yet. These guys are still very young and everyone this young makes a lot more mistakes than we are used to seeing at the MLB level. Bob did a nice job on trying to give us some data on their defense although I might argue that there just isn’t enough data yet to make any kind of good speculation.
11. Condon
12. Miguel HernandezOctober 26, 2026 at 5:16 pm #321822Kids can grow. Condon will get bigger. My point was all three SS prospects seem to be 6ft+ and have already found in-game power. I hope Condon becomes great, and early returns point that way.
October 26, 2026 at 5:28 pm #321824@Nigel T. I understand Kids can grow…but we’re talking about Power. It’s not a necessity. You almost CAN’T grow into Hit, or fix Swing and Miss issues. They’re always there. He doesn’t have those.
As much as I love Tai Peete, one of my favorite players, I understand he’ll always have a Swing and Miss issue, and it’ll probably exasperate in the Majors and AAA, when he faces more and better offspeed pitches, his albatross. Ragsdale’s swing and miss was well documented in Springfield’s playoff push and playoffs.
As for SDS and Hernandez…I loved the power….not sure how their hit will round out…I hope they at least stay average, that would be great. But they’re not outhitting Condon, whether he has 20 AB’s, and they have 300AB, they’re still not outhitting Condon.

This is great, though. Deep farm system, we can have debates like this. 😀

October 26, 2026 at 5:56 pm #321826#11 – Peete
#12 – CondonOctober 26, 2026 at 6:38 pm #321827I’m totally on board with Yoshi here with pick #’s 11 & 12:
11. Sebastian Alessandro Dos Santos
12. Tai PeeteRichie Allen, Willie Mays and Micky Mantle were all 5’11.
October 26, 2026 at 7:58 pm #32183011. Peete
12. Kuhns
October 26, 2026 at 8:11 pm #321831#11 Conden
#12 De Los SantosOctober 27, 2026 at 12:10 am #321846#11 Condon
#12 PeeteOctober 27, 2026 at 7:56 am #321863I think too much is said about young players striking out too much. For example, Ragsdale has 60 plus games at AA in his first full year. To me the most exciting part about watching prospects is monitoring their improvement. I am not worried about Ragsdale, Peete, Gurevich striking out too much. Because if they progress they will develop patience. Not every prospect is bull headed about their swing like Gorman. A prospect like Rodriguez is rare, but even he struggled as he was promoted. But eventually he righted himself. We’re talking about 19 to 21 year olds facing better qualiy and older pitchers.
October 27, 2026 at 8:02 am #321864I really like Kuhns, but I’d have to go with Roby ahead of him. Roby has pitched at AAA, Kuhns has yet yet to throw a professional pitch. I know Roby has a checkered injury history, but has such a tantalizing potential. If it weren’t for those questions, he is a top 4 or 5 prospect. I think we’ll see 100 plus big league innings from him in 2027.
October 27, 2026 at 9:06 am #321866Roby has faced multiple injury concerns, but he may be the strongest and healthiest version of himself we have ever seen. We are ranking a healthy Roby at this point rather than the significantly impaired version who ranked in the past.

ParticipantI got to go with Bling here.
#11 Condon
#12 KuhnsOctober 27, 2026 at 9:57 am #321871

#12 – PeeteI love all the discussion and opinions that this board presents about these prospects! I have a hard time putting into words my thoughts about various prospects, so it helps to hear from all of you why you support the players at the slot you have ranked them. Really appreciate the thought and time you all put into these picks! Thanks!

ParticipantI am similar to some others:
#11 – Condon
#12 – PeeteFrias doesn’t seem like a CFer to me, like these two.
October 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm #32188611 & 12 look to be solidly belonging to Condon and Peete. Peete had a wonderful finish to the season and has been the MVP so far of the AFL. I wonder if he fully replaces VSII next season in CF at Memphis? Probably so.
Bob, I assume you’ll finally get SDS across the line in the next round. 13 or 14 is still a very respectable place given all our depth. Heck, I have high hopes for most every player in my top 30.
