Fowler does the job on a ground out 4-3. Game tied at 1-1.

stlcard25ParticipantSmallball there…Bader with the squib hit, advances on a bunt, steals 3rd, scores on the grounder to the right side. Tied at 1
October 3, 2019 at 5:37 pm #109936Edman follows with a double. C’mon Goldy, deliver the lead. Keuchel’s day is done.
October 3, 2019 at 5:39 pm #109937Tied at 1 half way through with a chance for more.
Is it just me or does the atmosphere at Sun Trust seem rather ho hum?October 3, 2019 at 5:40 pm #109938Nice run on small ball. We’re gettin’ guys on base , just got to get ’em in. Just got to get it out of the infield. Nice ab by Dexter!
October 3, 2019 at 5:43 pm #109939These Braves are playing some nice defense, regrettably.
October 3, 2019 at 5:44 pm #109940We definitely seem to be the more loose of the 2 teams. After early struggles, Miko seems to have settled in.
October 3, 2019 at 5:56 pm #109941Do the Braves still have Chief Knock-a-Homah! I think I remember him coming out of his teppee in deep right field and dancing around when they got a dinger. Back in Fulton County Stadium I believe.
October 3, 2019 at 5:59 pm #109942Ozuna double lead off, Molina moves him over, yeah baby small ball it!
October 3, 2019 at 5:59 pm #109943Good hit Ozuna. Yadi needs to bring him in, at least get him over which he did. Now DeJong can give us the lead.
Don’t. StrikeoutOctober 3, 2019 at 6:02 pm #109944We’ve had our chances but have yet to take advantage . Hopefully Bader can come through
October 3, 2019 at 6:03 pm #109945Wow DeJong and Bader both pop out…
October 3, 2019 at 6:05 pm #109946Which he doesn’t. This has been the Cardinal offense throughout the season. At least they’re consistent .
October 3, 2019 at 6:05 pm #109947DeJong came up short last time he was up in a rbi situation in this game. May need to move him in the order.
October 3, 2019 at 6:07 pm #109948Always a big out when you can get Freeman.
October 3, 2019 at 6:09 pm #109949DeJong rarely comes through when he represents the go ahead run or the tying run. I wonder if there’s a stat on that? 🤔
October 3, 2019 at 6:10 pm #109950Yadi, DeJong and Bader all have bad at bats to leave Ozuna stranded. That’s twice Yadi had reached outside to roll a weak grounder with a great chance to score. Cards need the vet to be smart at the plate. He’s hacking at the wrong pitches.
October 3, 2019 at 6:11 pm #109951I’ve seen enough of Webb.
October 3, 2019 at 6:11 pm #109952Not looking good here. 2nd and 3rd, with 1 out
October 3, 2019 at 6:12 pm #109953Based loaded. Looking for the dp
October 3, 2019 at 6:12 pm #109954Was Mikolas pulled a little soon? If he’s getting outs, and pitch count wasn’t bad, why pull him?
Every reliever used is a chance for a reliever to have a bad night in my opinion. AKA, if it aint broke, no reason to try and fix it…
October 3, 2019 at 6:16 pm #109955I told you Webb was a ticking time bomb.
October 3, 2019 at 6:26 pm #109956So much for that defensive duo in the middle infield. I’ll never talk them up again
October 3, 2019 at 6:26 pm #109957Too bad, this game was winnable if the Cards played clean. Edman’s error allows 2 runs and makes the outcome a very unlikely win for the Cards given how unproductive the offense continues to be.
October 3, 2019 at 6:26 pm #109958That can happen when you put the ball in play instead of popping out
