After the Carp HR, DeJong walked, but was stranded. Bader swung at two more way out of the zone to strike out again. Hudson stayed in the game and also K’d. Really tired of seeing Bader come to the plate.
Edman with a nifty defensive play to dispatch the speedy Kemp to open the cub 5th. Is there anything this guy cannot do?
Someone said it earlier, but it bears repeatage…… we are begging for trouble if allow these hapless cubs to hang around in this game….now let’s end this madness and get ourselves a nice little 4 run advantage!

Hudson with 5 shutout innings. Good job except for the one wild inning, which cost him some efficiency. He’s probably done.
Either the pen needs to be perfect or the Cards need figure out how to score.

2. Hits for some power
3. Nice bunter
4. Very nice defensive infielder….at 2nd or 3rd.
5. Runs the bases well
6. Faster than lightening
7. Does the little things
8. Appears to be a clutch player who rises to the occasion in big games.Here’s what he cannot do:
Has anybody ever seen Ricky Horton and the poster GameCard at the same time? Horton just said “you give me eight Tommy Edmans on my team and I’ll beat you.” Right after that Edman beat out an infield hit to go 3-3. He gets stranded at 2B as Ozuna whiffs away to end the inning.
Just for the record, I could find room on this roster for more Tommy Edmans.

This game is starting feel like Arizona. Offense sucks and there’s only so much the pen can do.
And after I typed that, the cubs blast one of Gallegos. Tie game.
