Miller totally imploded.
September 27, 2019 at 10:02 pm #108888Get him out of there!!!!!!!
September 27, 2019 at 10:03 pm #108889
stlcard25ParticipantI don’t know any relievers that I actually trust on this team right now. The bullpen has went from a strength to a liability and I don’t know what the fix is.
September 27, 2019 at 10:04 pm #108890This rancid offense is going to lose another one, as Miller has just dumped a tank of gasoline on the fire. But hey Shildty, keep going with Bader and JMart in key PH spots. He’s really got his finger on the pulse of all the late September nuances.
September 27, 2019 at 10:04 pm #108891Old ass, overrated signing of Miller. Thanks dude, perfect timing to implode. Most knew this was the end result of a signing made of player past his prime by Moz.
September 27, 2019 at 10:07 pm #108893I’m going to bed. I thought mental weakness was gone after 4 at wrigley but we’re still gonna drop another dud to end the season
September 27, 2019 at 10:07 pm #108894The only difference between Paul DeJong and Tyler O’Neill offensively is DeJong stays healthy enough to play everyday. And I am beginning to think O’Neill is the better defender.
September 27, 2019 at 10:08 pm #108895Thank goodness the Rockies showed up tonight because this team is on fumes right now.
September 27, 2019 at 10:09 pm #108896Well this game is over. Cubs break their 9 game losing streak.

stlcard25ParticipantBut hey Shildty, keep going with Bader and JMart in key PH spots. He’s really got his finger on the pulse of all the late September nuances.
The team is choking its way into October. They are in clench tight and pray your opponent messes up mode.
As for the use of Bader and Jmart, I’m certain that they are on the postseason roster and guys like Arozarena have no shot.
Helsley gives up the backbreaker to a sub .200 hitter. Ah well, let’s just trust the Rockies to do our work for us. Off to bed I go.
September 27, 2019 at 10:10 pm #108898Well the good thing is that Milwaukee is losing big. About the only thing going for us.
September 27, 2019 at 10:11 pm #108899To send a message to the team…. the fans in the stands right now… should ALL get up and leave!!!!
September 27, 2019 at 10:11 pm #1089004-1 scrubs now on a Nico Hoerner base rap to center. You know, call me crazy, but I have gained a heck of a lot of confidence in those Rockies. May be we should just rest our starters for the remainder of this series and just kick back and watch the Rockies lambaste Milwaukee…..now Robaire Garcia cranks one out to Sheffield avenue’s counterpart in St. Louis….7-1 cubbies. Now the combined squads of St. Louis & Milwaukee are getting drubbed by the score of 18-3. Who wants this division?
September 27, 2019 at 10:13 pm #108901Runners on 1st and 2nd, one out and Lucrow pinch hitting against Helsley. Lucrow flies out for the 2nd out. Garcia pinch hits next and hits a 3-run HR.
I guess Shildt was right. It’s not always a ridiculously stupid move to intentionally walk a guy with runners already on 1st and 2nd. Starting with the mind boggling extra inning affair in AZ, this team is swirling down the crapper fast.
September 27, 2019 at 10:14 pm #108902Mental midgets everywhere. With the exception of Edman flaherty and hudson
And I really thought after the 4 in Chicago that mentality had faded
September 27, 2019 at 10:15 pm #1089038-1 cubs on a Zobrist base hit to right and this 7th inning nightmare will simply not come to an end…..Cards reaching into the pen once again….any guesses…..at this point does anyone really care? I’ll guess Genesis Garcia.
September 27, 2019 at 10:17 pm #108904This team isn’t doing jack, lucky to make the playoffs. The 19 inning loss did them in…
September 27, 2019 at 10:17 pm #108906I don’t think anyone cares pugs. Sadly (and I don’t blame anyone but the team for that)
At least that all bench lineup scored in wednesday
September 27, 2019 at 10:18 pm #108907And that 19 inning loss never happens without miller blowing the save
I had a feeling that pitch might mean a lot when I saw that home run tie that game 1-1
Positive thing is we still control our destiny with the brewers L
September 27, 2019 at 10:19 pm #108909In our last 5 games vs our arch rivals, the cubbies have outscored us by 3 runs.
September 27, 2019 at 10:20 pm #108910Lack of offense is really mind boggling. At what point does the front office decide to get rid of .238 hitters who strikeout way to much and not hit for average? Brewers have closed the gap in their game.
September 27, 2019 at 10:23 pm #108911This team reminds me of a High School basketball game… late in the 4th quarter.
The team that’s ahead… tries to ice the game…. only to end up losing the game,
because they were playing not to lose…. instead of stepping on the pedal and winning.September 27, 2019 at 10:26 pm #108912Our leadoff batter has been our Achilles heel all season. You just have to remove Dexter from that responsibility. Why not just insert Edman into that slot and end those worries?
September 27, 2019 at 10:28 pm #108913Need three outs from the Rockies
September 27, 2019 at 10:32 pm #108914overrated signing of Miller
Now I’d rather see Webb than Miller enter game that is still in doubt. He’s too unpredictable, hard to trust.
