Gallegos needs to have a seat. And DeJong’s brain freeze is setting up to be just as big a dagger as the other two were a couple weeks ago.

stlcard25ParticipantGallegos is laboring this inning and it seems like he will be a one inning pitcher. The only question now is whether he will surrender the lead.
September 27, 2019 at 9:31 pm #108864I think the Brewers have met their Waterloo….and it’s not in Belgium, but rather Denver, Colorado.
September 27, 2019 at 9:32 pm #108865We cannot let this oppt pass up. A 2 game lead with a chance to clinch with Waino on the mound. We got to do this
September 27, 2019 at 9:34 pm #108866
stlcard25ParticipantGallegos gets out of it…whew. Now how about a few runs, Cards??
September 27, 2019 at 9:34 pm #108867Yeah why didn’t dejong throw there? Great play by Gallegos that potentially saved a run
September 27, 2019 at 9:35 pm #108868Gallegos snared a grounder to end the inning and keep the game tied. I don’t believe Edman or DeJong would’ve fielded that ball.
September 27, 2019 at 9:42 pm #108869Yeah why didn’t dejong throw there?
It’s happened too many times recently to call it a random hiccup. He’s losing mental focus for some reason. His struggles with the bat might be weighing on him too. He’s a smart guy — sometimes they are more impacted by this type of thing more than others. But who knows for sure?
September 27, 2019 at 9:45 pm #108870I’d like to see dejong numbers since mid May. He was hitting 330-340 then which would make me think he’s hitting ~200 since then

Since May 22, he’s hitting .197/.276/.391 for a 75 wRC+. He does have 21 HRs but hasn’t been doing anything else very well with the bat.
September 27, 2019 at 9:49 pm #108872The Crew now getting crushed 10-2….how’s that for some Orange Crush?
September 27, 2019 at 9:49 pm #108873Delayed comment but thank gawd that ground ball found Gio’s glove. Tonight is there’s for the taking… and taking = division.

stlcard25ParticipantJmart swings at a pitch at his eyes. Not sure what he was thinking there at all.
September 27, 2019 at 9:52 pm #108875Shildt just has to keep going with his boys, who keep letting him down.
September 27, 2019 at 9:52 pm #108876Thanks stlcard25, the ops is even worse than I figured
September 27, 2019 at 9:53 pm #108877Nm, Martinez has gone into a funk as well at the end of the season and is undisciplined swinging at trash.
September 27, 2019 at 9:55 pm #108878This game is getting more dangerous with each passing inning. Going to the 7th in a 1-1 ballgame. Can we please put these guys away. For starters, let’s have a clean top of the 7th…..no walks…no hits….no defensive mental lapses….and hopefully no Jose Martinez in the outfield…..I cannot see out there…..he’s not out there is he?
September 27, 2019 at 9:55 pm #108879Get a haircut a@ J. Mart it will make you feel/swing better…
September 27, 2019 at 9:57 pm #108880Rockies now extend their carnage to 11-2. Let’s see Milwaukee come back from this deficit……no let’s not!
September 27, 2019 at 9:58 pm #108881The quote that Miller gets better with the moment was comical after Tuesday. And now this
September 27, 2019 at 9:58 pm #108882If he brings in Gant tonight… I’ll have a Stroke!!!!!
September 27, 2019 at 10:01 pm #108883We might need the Rockies to sweep
September 27, 2019 at 10:01 pm #108884Yeah, Miller. What a shit show.
September 27, 2019 at 10:01 pm #108885
stlcard25ParticipantWe got bad Miller tonight I guess. Wouldn’t it be nice to just take advantage of the Brewers finally losing a game??? Ugh!!
September 27, 2019 at 10:01 pm #108886Oh oh…..Happ has taken this game over all by his lonesome, as he doubles in a run…..now a Miller wild pitch plates another cub and suddenly the Birds are behind by a deuce with the cubbies looking to tack on more trouble.
