I think the Dodgers are going with a bullpen game tonight which might provide the Yankees an opportunity to finally do some damage. I wouldn’t mind seeing a sweep though.
This might be 1963 all over again with the former Bums sweeping the mighty Bombers. I felt going in the Dodgers were the better team, but most of the Yankees, especially Mr. Judge, have left their bats in the deep freeze. Course the LA pitching and defense have something to do with that.
And the 2024 Baseball Season may very well come to an end tonight.
Five months before we have baseball again.

It won’t be easy for the Yankees to avoid getting run over by the Dodger train tonight, but I’d have to guess that the majority of money wagered on game 4 is probably heavy on the side of the Yankees. I just don’t think the odds favor the Dodgers winning 4 in a row against a pretty good Yankee team. I’d also factor in the intangible of the Yankees playing tonight to not only extend their season, but also to retain some dignity by avoiding getting broomed into oblivion in front of the locals at Yankee Stadium. I’m guessing that the Yankees will survive to play a game 5.
Hopefully we have better umpiring tonight but im not holding my breath. Its been mostly bad all year. I like to see the yankees push it all the way back at least make the dodgers sweat a little bit. Maybe sit a guy whose hitting below 100.
Ibterestingly the dodger manager is not keeping the pedal to the metal. I like both teams, would be very happy for edman if he wom a ring but with the dodger manager being kind of reckless, this is one of those times where i pray for at least 3 straight yankee wins.
If i had been the yankee manager , instead of pitching to freeman, i would have plunked him on that sore ankle. That would have def happened back in the day.
