Yankees looking like the 2006 Tigers in the fifth. Three runs gifted to the Dodgers, and the inning is not over.

ParticipantThat was horrible by cole not covering but that should easily be an unassisted play by a first baseman. Rizzo has to attack the ball there, almost played it off to the side too much.
October 30, 2024 at 8:45 pm #270883Boy, there’s a HOF hitter…5-3.

ParticipantWell no taking cole out early now unless he falls apart here.
October 30, 2024 at 8:47 pm #270885Yeah, Rizzo really non-chalanted that. Play it like you will get the unassisted out, and if you have to then throw to first.
Wow, tie game!!! This one is about like that game 95 years ago where the Cubs blew an 8-0 lead, and Hack Wilson lost a couple of balls in the sun leading to a 10 run inning by the Athletics.
October 30, 2024 at 8:47 pm #270886Tie game…I wonder if CIF went to bed?
October 30, 2024 at 8:48 pm #270887Holy s..t!

ParticipantI agree with the guy on the telecast, no coach has stuck his head out to give cole any breather time. Just sad. Fire boone right now.
October 30, 2024 at 8:55 pm #270889CiF did not, thank goodness. And thanks to some sloppy Yankee baseball.
October 30, 2024 at 8:57 pm #270890Haha…The coffee will taste good CIF!
October 30, 2024 at 9:05 pm #270891Well, Jack was lousy, but he wriggles off the hook and won’t take the loss.
October 30, 2024 at 9:13 pm #270893Gotta give this one a 10 for entertainment value! Errors, home runs, high pressure. Can’t believe the Yankees let their ace flail for 28 pitches and five runs without a break. Thanks for nuttin’ coach! And there’s still four innings to go!
October 30, 2024 at 9:21 pm #270896Yeah, all these games have been really good, 4Ev. And I have a feeling this one’s going to end with a drum roll.
October 30, 2024 at 9:23 pm #270897A sac-bunt in the 6th?
October 30, 2024 at 9:26 pm #270898I don’t know how Soto gets his Yankee cap on.
October 30, 2024 at 9:29 pm #270899These walks are giving me a rash.
October 30, 2024 at 10:03 pm #270900I’m still trying to figure out how Edman decides when to turn around and stand in from the RH side vs. a RHP’er.

ParticipantYankee relievers are horrible,, first rule throw strikes. I dont understand why weaver wasnt in the game at the start of the 8th. Yea hes pitched teo days 8n a row but you are bringing him in now with bases loaded, so what was difference. The difference would be the bases woukdnt be already loaded
October 30, 2024 at 10:11 pm #2709021982 willie
ParticipantWell boone is to blame for the one run so far. See what happens now.
October 30, 2024 at 10:12 pm #2709031982 willie
ParticipantCatchers interference, wells cant even pkay his position right.
October 30, 2024 at 10:13 pm #270904Look who comes around to score the lead run.
October 30, 2024 at 10:16 pm #2709051982 willie
ParticipantWeaver did great to get out of that the way he did, those runs are om boone
October 30, 2024 at 10:24 pm #270906He sure did. Especially the K of Freddie.
October 30, 2024 at 10:27 pm #270907If i’m a Yankee fan, I don’t at all like that first pitch swing from Stanton.
October 30, 2024 at 10:32 pm #2709081982 willie
ParticipantI agree stanton just lost the inning with that swing. I dont know what he saw in the pitch that made it look like a good pitch to hit esp after being wild the previous batter. Bottom of the order is going to have to do it for the yankees. I dont like their chances.
