Yeah, they needed to push a run across.

Well Eddie’s got no chance at WS MVP if Freddie keeps doing that! It’s hilarious or sob-worthy, depending on your perspective.

Yankee Stadium needs an interior fence to keep their animals in the stands.
    Bush league as it gets.

Eddie hits it right on the screws for the 3-6 double play. Yankees are lucky to be down by 2.

Haha…It’s still 2-0! How do you not score on that double?

Boy they needed that. Volpe and the Yankees say, “Take that Freddie!”

Big salami for the Yanks. I picked LA to win this at the start, but am rooting for the Bombers tonight so we can have more baseball.

“Might be time to start playing Strat-O-Matic again. I am thinking the 1984 Cardinals season.”

You should play 1964, Rats. 1984 was kind of boring, and the Cubs won the division. ‘64 was thrilling, and we won!

BTW, I am thinking of doing a 1966 season replay on Action PC. In fact I am kicking around doing 1966 baseball, then play the ‘66 football season (first year where the league champs played each other – the still nicknamed “Super Bowl”), and ‘66-67 NBA. Wilt gets his first ring, finally getting by Boston, then beating an exciting young Warriors team in the finals.

Haha…Yeah, me too, Bikemike! I want to see all seven games, and if anyone knows that it’s possible to squander a 3-0 game lead, it’s the Yankees…

    The ’84 NLCS was good.

Boone had better go to his BP.

Eddie reaches on the BB. He’ll be at 2B in a minute or two.

Well, Ohtani didn’t give him any time for the SB, but Edman’s standing on 2B.

This one may flip flop back to the Dodgers.

Safe as milk…When Eddie reaches, Eddie scores.

Well if they had plunked freeman ankle in the first inning, he wouldnt have beat that out.

Wells provides the Yankees with a bit of breathing room with the solo tater.

Eddie reaches again via the BB, but this time pilfers the SB in front of Ohtani, Betts and Freddie.

Well, Torres essentually guarantees a WS game 5 with the 3 run tater.

I wonder if Dave Roberts is having flashbacks to 2004, when his Red Sox came from a 0-3 deficit to take out the Yankees. What a story it would be if these Yankees turned the tables in retribution for their 2004 brothers.

A quick glance at the simple numbers clearly indicates that the odds for tonight’s game 5 Cole/Flaherty matchup lean more than a little in the favor of the Yankees, but this is baseball. My guess is that Jack will either get pummeled early or he’ll turn in a real nice 6 or 7 innings of work. In any case, the baseball gypsy tells me the Yankees win again tonight in NY and place some genuine pressure on the Dodgers prior to returning to Dodger Stadium for a potential games 6 and 7. We’ll see what happens.

And the 2024 Baseball Season may very well come to an end tonight.

Five months before we have baseball again.

Might be time to start playing Strat-O-Matic again. I am thinking the 1984 Cardinals season.

The Doppler Radar shows all clear in the New York City area. It also appears to show wet stuff headed towards St. Louis and towards us here in Indiana tomorrow.

Hope so as it is really dry here in SW Indiana. Not rained in over a month.
