Even though I will be rooting for the Dodgers I expect the Yankees to win the series in 6. The Dodgers rotation is just torn to shreds with injuries. I’m not sure how they managed to get this far by having to use so many different hurlers each game. Hopefully Freddie Freeman is back too.
October 25, 2024 at 5:10 pm #270473Yeah, gscottar, the Dodgers need Freddie Freeman to compliment Ohtani and Betts as a counter punch to the Yankee big three of Judge, Soto and Stanton. I’ll also be rooting for the Dodgers in this WS and I’m going to guess the Dodgers in the full 7 simply because I don’t think the Yankees can possibly come up with anything that will overcome a dynamic duo as diverse and dangerous as the one two combo of Big Freddie and Little Eddie…Haha!

jj-cf-stlParticipantStaying NL. Go Dodgers!
October 25, 2024 at 6:52 pm #270476Roberts has Freeman back in there at the 3 slot with Eddie manned up at SS and slotted at 9. Not sure I’m good with that. I’d have Edman leading off and move everyone down a slot so that the 1st home half inning is Edman, Ohtani, Betts and if anyone reaches, Freeman. I’m just trying to win the game, that’s all…Haha!
October 25, 2024 at 6:54 pm #270477There’s nothing wrong with that Dodger home uniform.
October 25, 2024 at 7:15 pm #270478And just like that Soto reaches on a 1st inning BB from Jack.
October 25, 2024 at 7:16 pm #270479Jack answers back with the impressive K of Judge.
October 25, 2024 at 7:18 pm #270480Edman with the E-6 Das Boot…Not good.
October 25, 2024 at 7:25 pm #270481Dodgers flashing some warning track power in the 1st.
October 25, 2024 at 7:35 pm #270482Why is the series starting in LA

ParticipantI just tuned in and i see the umpire call two of the same type pitch, exact same location, one a strike, one a ball. Both obvious strikes. Umpires just need to go.
October 25, 2024 at 7:49 pm #270484Best regular season W/L record belonged to the Dodgers, Nate.
October 25, 2024 at 7:50 pm #270485Eddie turns the nice 6-3.
October 25, 2024 at 8:13 pm #270486Rizzo’s no slouch with the mitt. He robbed many a Redbird when he was with the Cubs and that was a real nice play out in RF in front of Soto.
October 25, 2024 at 8:35 pm #270487Hell of a game so far! Certainly worth staying up to 3:30 a.m.
October 25, 2024 at 8:37 pm #270488With both of these pitchers on autopilot thru 5 IP’ed, Cole blinks first as he allows an ER on the triple and sac-fly.
October 25, 2024 at 8:41 pm #270489The Jack and Judge battle has been all Jack tonight as he’s K’d the Yankee slugger 3 times in 3 AB’s.
October 25, 2024 at 8:44 pm #270490He didn’t win the battle in that AB vs. Stanton. That 2 run tater was of the mammoth variety.
October 25, 2024 at 8:53 pm #270491Eddie saves a run with the nice mitt at SS.
October 25, 2024 at 8:54 pm #270492Atta boy Eddie!
October 25, 2024 at 9:08 pm #270493When Eddie reaches Eddie usually scores. The Dodgers had the right guys standing in, but just couldn’t push the tying run across.
October 25, 2024 at 9:27 pm #270495If you wanted to teach a youngster the correct way to lay down a bunt, you’d show him that slo-mo replay of the Hernandez sac-bunt.
October 25, 2024 at 9:31 pm #270496Dodgers are squandering some good chances while running low on outs.

ParticipantIm not sold on weaver as a great reliever. Threw betts the perfect type fastball to drive for a sac fly. You go up high with betts with a fasrball out of zone with 2 strikes or if go low, it needs to be something not straight.
October 25, 2024 at 9:52 pm #270498The Torres E-4 allows the Dodgers to tie it up at 2 apiece in the 8th.
