Yeah, I like him a lot too KCB. He’s been first rate for a long time.

Real nice work from Luke Weaver as the Yankees win it 6-5.

Weaver has been very good in NY. Nice work for him overall after a fairly lackluster first bunch of years.

Eddie lays down a bunt for a base hit and now Rojas with a base hit to LF in front of Ohtani.

Betts with a bases jammed chance after the base hit from Ohtani. The Padres are in a world of it.

Uh oh…Eddie scores on what looked like what I’d score a WP. When Eddie gets on, Eddie scores.

Schildt puts Betts on in front of Freddie and it pays off for the Padres.

That’s 12 total runs in this game and it’s far from over. Might have to score 9 or 10 runs to come out on top.

Just got back from my hometown festival, watched ohtani strike out. See you can get him if you dont throw it down the middle

He vaporized a Cease belt high middle of the plate fastball for a 3 run tater earlier in the game, Willie. But yeah, if they can keep it out of his wheelhouse, the Padres probably have a decent chance to keep him under control.

Machado stands in representing the lead run in the 9th, but K’s to end the game. With the 7-5 Dodger win over the Padres, the Mets turn out to be the only road team with a post-season victory today. The baseball laws of average are at work to even things out. Entertaining day of post-season baseball action.

Flaherty takes what will be the 5th post-season turn of his career when he works tonight against the Padres at Dodger Stadium. Meanwhile, the Phillies almost have to avoid losing again at home vs. the Mets. After squandering 7 innings of shutout work from Wheeler in yesterday’s game, I’m declaring a must win for Philly this afternoon.

I don’t guess many Cardinal fans watch these post-season games. Maybe that’s true regarding all baseball fans when their favorite team doesn’t qualify for a berth. In any case, I still really enjoy watching these high stakes Oct. baseball games.

Sosa with the E-5 throwing error give the Mets an early chance.

No way to defense the Vientos two run tater.

Phillie fans are turning on their boys. Booing Castellanos for swinging at pitches in the dirt and Stott for a caught stealing, hahaha!

Oh yeah, you knew that was coming, Euro. If the Mets hang on to win this game, the party in Philly could be over.

1td, I hope Thomson doesn’t send in Santa Claus to pinch hit later in the game. If he were to strike out, there might be a riot.

Severino’s working a nice turn, but this will be a tough test with Harper standing in with Turner aboard in the 6th.

Haha…He failed that test. Harper jumps all over that belt high 2-2 mistake. Way outta here for the 2 run tater to pull to within a run. Harper’s still an uncivilized beast anytime he stands in the box.

Wow…I jinxed him! Castellanos with the solo tater to tie it up at 3-3.
