We took a left hook to the chin. I’ve seen nothing to make me believe it was a haymaker. The Phillies proved you can play a 3 game series with a semi-totally infected team and not contract the virus. The game itself is not a vector of transmission. Tighten up the clubhouse, hotels, and plane rides. Take a deep breath, handle the rescheduling issues and play on!

Yeah, I saw your post regarding that Brian. I wondered if the Miami mayor meant that he would even insist on quarantining the Marlins players who’d tested negative in the last day. If that is the policy that local mayors and governors are going to take, MLB has no chance to finish the season.

Thanks for the lineup 858. Not sure how far we can go with our starting outfield hitting in the 7,8,9 holes, but we’ll see. Looking forward to seeing what C-Mart has tonight. Winning game one on the road would be nice. Go Cards.

I’m sorry but what a jerk move by David Price. If he didn’t want to play because of health reasons, fine. But to sanctimoniously chime in to blast Manfred at the first sign of trouble is self-serving and shows a lack of class in my opinion. Sounds to me like he’s feeling a bit of guilt for not joining his teammates, and he’s hoping to apply maximum pressure for the league to shut down so he won’t look so bad for not playing.

It was different. But just hearing Dan McLaughlin, seeing the St. Louis skyline, live baseball, etc. was music to my ears. A glimmer of hope. Thank you everyone who made that happen. Go Cards!
