cardsfan64ParticipantThe way Lopez is hitting in Mexico makes me think he needs to be higher on my prospect list!
Does he have a real chance to break into the big leagues with the Cards?

HerediaGranillo and Bedell are a toss up here too as well as Koperniak for the last spot. Like the lefty heat and slider combo for the back of the pen from Heredia. Now if he can find the strike zone…we may have something.
December 9, 2022 at 4:02 pm #208700I’m assuming slidinlefty’s vote for Baker is T. Baker since he has been getting votes rather than Luken Baker who has not so far.
Koperniak 12, Davila 10, T. Baker 9, Love and Loutos 7, Mills and Pages 5, Bedell 3, Robertson and Granillo 2, Scott, Raposo, Buchberger and Heredia 1.

32. PagesI’m confused. I don’t think Parsons or Buchberger rank in the top 70 Cards prospects, let alone top 30. I like Parsons and am rooting for him, but I just don’t think he will ever make it to the St Louis roster. His stuff just isn’t crisp enough to get MLB hitters out. And he’s so inconsistent. There was almost no chance he was getting taken in the rule 5 draft. I feel almost certain that Buchberger never makes it to the MLB. At least not with the Cardinals. He does have a knack for some timely RBIs. So that’s a plus. But I just don’t see him ever getting past AAA.
December 10, 2022 at 4:32 am #20873930 Buchberger, if only he had more power
31 Love, purely on potential
32 Granillo
