Zobrist with the luck double and it’s 4-2. Tying run on second.

I guess this is what happens when you take a Jack Flaherty out of the game. Bear down Carlos….you can do it!

Goodness. Now a tiny squib scores the run and pretty much gives the Cubs an easy chance to tie. Carlos is out. I’m guessing Miller is coming in.

Baez pinch hitting? What is it with all of these cubs who were supposed to be in the infirmary, now seeing action. Maddon thinks he’s Albert Einstein.

Cubs at wrigley in the bottom of the 9th…they just create magic sometimes. Lose this one and it might snowball all weekend.

The Fox announcers are just giddy with glee at the Cubs showing some life. We need Heyward to hit into one of his patented double plays.

Well, that’s it for me. I’m not interested in staying up to see this one end anymore. Carlos owes Jack a hefty chunk of his salary for that choke job.

Honestly. Is the majority really surprised by this?

Carlos has to go in the offseason…. there aren’t enough ER’s in the midwest for all of the heart attacks and not enough blood pressure medicine in the country to deal with him.

Martinez gave big clues right away that he could not handle this moment. Shildt snoozed right through it. You can’t be as bad as those two were in the 9th.

I wasn’t, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is Shildt was.

You know, this would really take the starch out of these guys if we beat them in extras after their great 9th inning comeback. Right now, to a man, they think this game is theirs. Let’s sting these guys!

A saying in baseball. You can fail 7 of 10 times and be an all star. Apparently in cmarts world that holds true as a closer

Bad CMart tonight. We need a CMart rule. Walk first batter in 9th inning, he comes out of the game.

Let’s be realistic…one player wilted. He should have been immediately pulled after the walk and the single and Miller brought in. Then Gallegos to finish.
