Nice thought Pugs but If we lose this we’re done. I was writing that first sentence as Carp hit the homer. Great call Pugs.

Now do we have someone who can get three freaking outs in the bottom of the 10th?

I feel about as comfortable with this lead as George Custer did at the Battle of the Little Bighorn.

Thanks Dave! Boy if we can keep them in check in the bottom of the 10th, both the cubbies and their faithful will be absolutely snakebit…..kind of brings a little tears to the eyes doesn’t it guys?

Once again we are wilting at Wrigley. Same song different verse.

Yep, that was a collapse on the mound, but more importantly a collapse in the dugout. That part matters more than anything. Maybe Carp has saved Shildt’s bacon. If not, that means the Cards will have blown it twice tonight. Let’s hope for some mental maturity in the bottom of the 10th.

Gotta be Gallo….. let’s hope we’re not ready to send him to the gallows like we felt about Carlos. This game is ours!!

I’ve loved Gallo all year…..I pray those sentiments do not diminish here this evening. He’s usually money.

Don’t worry boys, I walked over to Wrigley (less than a mile away), and told Schildt if Gallegos didn’t go in, I was going to whoop him…. so here it is, you’re welcome. Your 2020 closer in the biggest close situation of the year so far. I can’t take CMart anymore unless I hadn’t said that roughly 200 times already.

Cards get the win and avoid what could have been a devastating loss.

We are getting closer to Atlanta Pugs. Need to win a few more.

The Cubs have to be demoralized after tonight. Let’s deliver the knockout punch this weekend.

Last out to Bader! Whew, that was close! Great win to start the series!

Fox broadcasters are upset at the Cubs loss by the tone of their voice. Let’s get back to FS1.
