My mistake. Thanks. He’d be better off in the Bronx, though. Now he has NL Rookie of the Year Peter Alonso to deal with…January 31, 2020 at 10:05 pm #121168January 31, 2020 at 10:14 pm #121170mudvilleParticipantPaid - Annual
His history makes me want to think of him as a position player version of Rob Kaminsky.February 1, 2020 at 7:17 am #121175

Tony Cingrani, a dynamic lefty out of pen, is on the mend, is drawing a ton of interest and should be a nice late spring sign for someone

With names being thrown around like Garlic(k), Martini, and Cingrani, I am getting craving for a nice spaghetti dinner. 🙂February 19, 2020 at 9:54 pm #123026
Guessing that “ton of interest” that Cingrani is receiving according to his agent (through Heyman) is minor league contract offers. Otherwise, I bet he would have signed already.
Teams are going to be very reluctant to give him an MLB contract and pay him an MLB salary not knowing if he can pitch effectively. He has too much service time to be sent down to the minors without permission so the worst case for an MLB team would be if he becomes a Luke Gregerson type (fewer years obviously).
If he is healthy and effective, maybe someone gets a bargain.February 20, 2020 at 6:07 am #123029CariocaCardinalParticipantPaid - Monthly
