If he does, it had better be the 2018 version at age 36 rather than the one they had last year.
Last season, Oh had the highest ERA, highest FIP, highest percent of inherited runners scoring and lowest percent of first batters retired in the entire bullpen. Pretty clear why he did not come back.
What changed in Toronto other than them pitching him one inning or less and whatever it is, will it be moving with him?

OH’s stats are pretty good this year after a dismal year working for MM and friends. Makes you wonder how many players on the current roster will eventually bounce back.

Lance Lynn I was traded to the Yankees today for Tyler Austin and Luis Rijo. Lots of former Cards have a shot at the postseason this year.
Scrabble returns to St. Louis West, aka Seattle, albeit on a minor league deal. Duke becomes the fifth MLB pitcher on their roster with recent Cards experience (Leake, Tui, Marco, Nicacio).
Mariners, who have already added Adam Warren and Zach Duke today, also have a minor-league deal with Mark Rzepczynski.

Luke Voit went 0-4 for the Yanks last night. I’m surprised they didn’t go for JMart instead of Voit.
Actually they probably did ask about JMart but the Cards had a much higher asking price so they settled for Voit.
