Our boy Tommy Edman got bailed out by a good pick in the dirt by Freeman to win the game for the Dodgers.
Dodgers are real fortunate to head back to LA with a 2-0 game lead. If I’m a Dodger fan, I’m needing the EMS crew to revive me after watching that toss to 1B from Edman…Haha!

I hope Misiorowski’s theatrics don’t serve to fire up those Cubbies. The rookie RH’er gets more than a little amped up…
It just feels wrong seeing Erick Fedde of all people sitting in the dug out of a playoff team. Surely he doesn’t see any action this series right?
1TD, I don’t really have a problem with players like Misiorowski getting amped up. It actually makes the game more enjoyable to me. I want to see guys go out there and show they enjoy playing the game. It is something I think the Cardinals really need beyond Contreras. There just isn’t a lot of excitement on the team and players people like to watch.
Again, to avoid any sort of copyright infringement, the term, “Crowbar” is an original Rat composition…Haha!
At this rate, there will be more HRs in this single game than the Cardinals season HR leader Contreras with 20.
I think Counsell liked it just fine in Milwaukee. It’s just that the Cubs made him an offer he couldn’t refuse, 5 yrs/$40M.
That made him the highest paid manager in the game. Of course, when the Dodgers found that out, they immediately chipped in an extra tenth of a million dollars to Dave Roberts. So now Dave Roberts is the highest paid manager in the game. BTW, I just noticed that Shildt is collecting $4 million from the Padres.The Brewers hang the 7-3 W up on the board to take command with a 2-0 games lead heading to Wrigley and the Dodgers really tighten the proverbial noose on the Phillies with a 2-0 games lead as they head home to Dodger Stadium. My baseball fortune telling gypsy deck of tarot cards say the Cubbies win one game at Wrigley before their season ends and the Dodgers put an end to the Phillies season as they apply the coup de gras on Wednesday in LA.
The Brewers still need another victory to dismiss our nemesis from the north side but I must say that I have been very impressed with the Crew thus far. They don’t have many stars but they pitch well, defend well, run the bases well, and have a scrappy lineup of no names who always generate traffic on the basepaths and who can occassionally hit the long ball.
They are a very fundamentally sound blue collar group, kind of like a certain team from the 1980’s that we are all fond of.
