The only thing missing from this extra inning pressure cooker post-season elimination game is the illustrious make believe baserunner at 2B…

Oh boy, another E-1 may turn out to be the deciding factor in an LDS elimination game.

Both teams blow chances to score in the 12th. Going to the 13th. Hope I can stay awake until the end.

And Montero atones by staying as cool as Steve McQueen eating a cucumber as he executes a perfect start to the 1-4-3 GIDP that bails the Tigers out of a potentially season ending jam…2-2 heading to the 13th in Seattle.

I’ll never understand how a player like Jack Flaherty can stick around for so long.

Me either, Mud. He’s trying to gift this game to the Mariners.

And once again…This time the textbook tried and true 6-4-3.

That’s 14 long innings. Need to speed this game up a little bit so that it can catch up with heart rates of these baseball fans…

Castillo makes Baez look really bad with 1 pitch.

Flaherty out there to start another inning. These two teams are beginning to run short on arms.

The Mariners advance with the walk-off RBI base hit in the 15th inning. Seattle fans should sleep pretty good after that long and arduous ride.

That’s a nice looking baseball cap that Raleigh’s wearing for the on field interview.

Mariners and Blue Jays, a classic AL matchup, lol.

I wish there was a way both teams could lose.

Not only are the Cardinals better than their record, but we are unlucky to be in a division with the powerhouses.

The Mariners and Tigers in one of those “instant classics”. Love seeing Seattle and Toronto in the ALCS – two teams that have not been there in awhile. Hoping Seattle can get to their first ever World Series, but am okay with eh Blue Jays as well.

Now we need those Brewers to not go down in history with a collapse after starting out 2-0. The Cubs are hoping to exorcise the ghosts of 1984.

Yeah that was quite an elimination game, Bikemike. In my view it took on a somewhat similar feel as game 7 of the ’91 WS. I know one thing…I would have allowed Skubal to work all the way into the 15th inning…

I’ll be in attendance, but at the terrible risk of being in the rabid midst of celebrating cub fans. If the cubs have a 4 run advantage at any point past inning #4, I’m taking no chances and hightailing it on out of there. As always, I’ll be situated 8 rows behind the visitors dugout and if Front Row Amy is in the house, I’ll be sure to head on down to say hey before the first pitch is flung. Tonight I’ll be America’s Dairyland #1 Brewer fan…….go Crew!

    Pugs?

Might be your last chance to say hello to Front Row Amy for me!

    Go for it!

Cubs and Brewers all tied up 1-1 heading into the 3rd inning. It’s my view that the Brewers need to take command of this game before the middle innings and that the Cubbie’s chances increase tenfold if this game is tied or close after the 6th or 7th inning.

    Totally agree 1td!

I was even thinking about that before I read your post.

Brewers need to stomp them in the ground and not let them have a chance.

We need Pugsto bring home a Brewer “W”! I can’t watch these game as no cable more any streaming service that carries the channel, and enjoy the commentary here to follow the action.
