I’m looking into my magical quartz orb and seeing clear visions of a Dodgers/Mariners WS, Bikemike.
October 4, 2025 at 1:35 pm #293640After a leadoff homerun by Busch the Brewers have plated at least four runs in the last of the 1st. Boyd is chased and Milwaukee is still batting.
October 4, 2025 at 1:36 pm #293641And the Brewers are dropping the hammer on the Cubbies in the 1st inning as they’ve already chased Boyd and are still batting with baserunners at the corners and leading 4-1.
October 4, 2025 at 1:40 pm #293642It’s now 6-1 Brewers as they continue to hammer the Cubs in the 1st inning. Still batting with baserunners at 1B and 2B.
October 4, 2025 at 1:44 pm #293643Looking good for the Brewers as they lead 6-1 heading to the visitor half of the 2nd inning. Cubs still have 24 outs in the bank so, if I’m a Brewer fan, I want to hang some more runs up on the board.
October 4, 2025 at 2:01 pm #293644And that’s what the Brewers do as they tack on 2 more runs in the 2nd inning to make it 8-1 and are still batting with baserunners at 1B and 2B with 1 out…8-1 MIL.
October 4, 2025 at 2:05 pm #293645The Cubs and “Crowbar” are going to have a difficult time prying themselves out of this 8-1 bind…I love calling the Cubbie CF’er, “Crowbar”…Haha! That’s a Rat original…
October 4, 2025 at 2:09 pm #293646Make that 9-1. This is turning into a savage beating.
October 4, 2025 at 2:43 pm #293649I see that the Brewers are doing mighty fine work today of ridding the nation of the blue menace. Keep it up Crew.
October 4, 2025 at 3:08 pm #293654Yeah gscottar, I almost never tempt fate by disputing a concept that was proposed by one of history’s all time great philosophers, but this one may be over…
October 4, 2025 at 3:11 pm #293655And as soon as I key that in Happ taters up to make it 9-2…I made Lawrence angry!
October 4, 2025 at 3:28 pm #293657Vlad Jr. rips a 1st inning solo tater to hand the Blue Jays an early 1-0 lead over the Yankees.
October 4, 2025 at 3:40 pm #293660Now Kirk extends the Blue Jay’s lead to 2-0 with another solo tater to lead-off the home half of the 2nd. That Kirk is built like a genuine block of granite at 5-8 245 lbs.
October 4, 2025 at 4:22 pm #293661No contest in MIL as the Brewers defeat the Cubs in a 9-3 final in a game in which there was never any doubt.
October 4, 2025 at 5:20 pm #293670Tight game in the Great White North with the Blue Jays holding a 2-1 lead and threatening with baserunners at the corners and 0 outs in the visitor half of the 7th. Yankees are in serious trouble.
October 4, 2025 at 5:30 pm #293671And an RBI single from Gimenez extends the Blue Jay lead to 3-1. Still no outs and baserunners at 1B and 2B. Boone goes and gets Weaver who was horrible in the ALWC and continues to struggle in the ALDS.
October 4, 2025 at 5:33 pm #293672The Blue Jays break thru and take command in the 7th with a bases jammed 2 RBI double from Lukes to run the score to 5-1.
October 4, 2025 at 5:36 pm #293673Yankees are all but done in the ALDS opener. Time to switch over to the Dodgers/Phillies which should be the premier LDS of ’25. It’s my view that the participants are the 2 best teams in the Big Leagues.
October 4, 2025 at 6:16 pm #293675Say what you want about their overall temperament, but the fans in Philadelphia make a lot of noise…2-0 Phillies after the Realmuto 2 RBI triple.
October 4, 2025 at 6:17 pm #293676Bader with the sac-fly RBI to make it 3-0 Phillies.
October 4, 2025 at 6:31 pm #293677Sanchez is working to the Dodger hitters like he’s really dialed in to near perfection thru 3 full.
October 4, 2025 at 6:58 pm #293678Bader with the defensive play of the game in CF to rob Pages on a base hit with baserunner at 1B and 0 outs. That was a first rate play by the former Redbird.
October 4, 2025 at 7:37 pm #293681Glad to see the Brewers beat the Cubs. I just don’t want the Cubs to do well. At this point, I think I am leaning toward wanting any team in the AL other than the Yanks to win it all. I wouldn’t mind if the Brewers did as it is nice to see a franchise get their first WS.
October 4, 2025 at 7:38 pm #293682Since I have MLB tv to watch games, I actually couldn’t watch the playoffs. I am a cable cutter. But I did break down today and pay for HBO for a month to be able to watch the NL games. My wife will get use out of it as well for the month.
October 4, 2025 at 7:39 pm #293683With how shaky the Dodgers pen has been lately, I leave Shohei in for the 7th
