Those winter weather reports can be painful, Pugs. When the forecast is for extreme cold, I think about the $300 heating bill, and when it calls for a blast of snow, my vertebrae immediately begins to stiffen up at the thought of shoveling the driveway…I detest winter!
Both these teams feature an entire arsenal of offensive firepower and they’re headed to the 7th with 1 hit apiece in a 0-0 stalemate. That’s baseball for you.
Don’t really know why Rojas opted for the force at 3B which developed into a really close play. Simply glove the routine ground ball and toss it across the diamond to 1B for the easy out. Easy for me to say…Haha!
Freddie Freeman can flat out hit a baseball. He’s the best LH’ed hitter I’ve seen since Bonds. Dodgers with baserunners at 2B and 3B with 0 outs.
Lousy throw to HP from Turner allows Hernandez to sneak in there on the FC. Dodgers break the deadlock in the 7th.
Will Smith with the back breaking 2 out, 2 RBI base hit lifts the Dodgers to a 3-0 lead in the visitor half of the 7th.
Ohtani with another 2 out RBI base hit to make it 4-0. Dodgers now in command, but the Phillies still have 9 tough outs in the bank.
Philles just struggle to hit in post season. Kind of the same as the yankees. I dont usually pull for philly but i would like to see a different team in world series.
I wouldn’t at all mind seeing the Brewers advance to the WS, Willie. Anything can happen, but I just don’t forsee any NL team getting past the Dodgers.
Close at 2B, but I don’t see any overwhelming evidence of a bad call by the 2BU. I’m guessing the out call stands.
Kepler with the 1 out triple for only the second hit from the Phillies. They’d better make good use of it and push him across HP.
I wouldnt mind the brewers either 1tough. I just feel they are a team made for a season as opposed to a playoff run. But i would love to be proven wrong. If they end the cubbies season, i will be very happy.
And Turner comes thru with the RBI base hit to push across a Phillie run and make it 4-1. This game’s far from in the books.
And neither one of the big LH’ed bats can make any noise for the Phillies. Dodgers up by 3 heading to the 9th.
Bohm leads off the 9th with a base hit. This game ain’t over. Another baserunner gives the Phillies a genuine chance.
Castellanos get so lucky with a dunk hit but makes a great slide at second to avoid the tag. Would have been ran out of town if he got out there
Easy to second guess, but I don’t like that sac attempt with the baserunner already in scoring position. Bader stands in.
