Did CIF really have chicken livers for din-din, or did the spell check mess something up??
August 21, 2022 at 5:45 pm #196879Nice…Nado with the 2 RBI base hit for the lead!

ParticipantArenado with a big single to put us on top again.

ParticipantChicken livers is a delicacy to some folks.
August 21, 2022 at 5:49 pm #196882Jeezus! Am I getting Cardinal fever again?
August 21, 2022 at 5:51 pm #196883Wish we could have got a coupla more runs there.
August 21, 2022 at 5:51 pm #196884Please send O’Neil back to Canada
August 21, 2022 at 5:51 pm #196885CarerLeGrand…Haha! Looks to be the case.
August 21, 2022 at 5:51 pm #196886Those high K rate guys just killed that rally. There is value to being able to put it in play.
August 21, 2022 at 5:53 pm #196887Would have liked to have had more, but I’ll take it. Give the lead to BP and hope it holds up.

I gorge on chicken livers ’till I puke
August 21, 2022 at 5:54 pm #196889Ginkel one of those guys that does a funny wind up routine.
August 21, 2022 at 5:56 pm #196890Bling…Yeah, a hit, sac fly, WP, PB, anything with a runner at 3B and 1 out.
August 21, 2022 at 5:56 pm #196891Yeah Bling I’m watching on Gameday. Gorman struck out on 3 fastballs all well in the zone. O’Niel following at least fouled his off. Gorman never even touched one.Whiffed all the way. Should off had more there!
August 21, 2022 at 5:57 pm #196892Hate to say it, but I just don’t get excited any longer with the prospect of Libby being brought back up. He’s going to have to prove that he belongs with the big club.

ParticipantCardinals announcer saying Woodford hasn’t been consistent. Lol. Manager hasnt been consistent in using him but he’s been consistently good.
August 21, 2022 at 5:58 pm #196894Rojas…He’s beginning to be a headache.
August 21, 2022 at 5:59 pm #196895Geesh, Woodford gives up one little base knock and he gets yanked.
August 21, 2022 at 5:59 pm #196896Frankly, I’d forget this lefty/lefty nonsense and leave Woodford in to do his job.
August 21, 2022 at 6:01 pm #196897Cabrera last guy you want to bring in, wow
August 21, 2022 at 6:01 pm #196898Genesis (pronounced pronounced “Hen-a-sis”) “Cabby” Cabrera gets the call for St. Louis to face the pesky Rojas. And a sparkling play by Goldy at 1st base retires Rojas and the Diamondbacks…..we mozzy along to the 8th.

ParticipantReally they are taking Woodford out. That doesn’t make sense. If things go sideways in this inning, it isn’t on Woodford. Do the Cardinals have any managing?
August 21, 2022 at 6:01 pm #196900Woody settles things down once again, but now we have a dicey situation with the erratic Cabrera.

I started back following the team with the hated Yankees 3 game series weeks ago. I don’t think we’ve lost more than 2 or 3 games since!
With me back in the fold and Pugsley passing out mid-game we may have some real mojo going on
August 21, 2022 at 6:02 pm #196902Gorman needed to mature more
