    Top of 4.

O’Neill grounds out to Perdomo at SS.

Dickerson grounds out to Rojas at 2nd

DeJong softly lines out to Rivers at 3rd base.

    AZ 4
    STL 3

Boy I’d love to have Mikolas’ hairline….not necessarily his hair, but his hairline. The man had 0% chance of ever going bald…..or most likely losing any hair.

I hope somebody tells Dickerson they’re easier to hit it they’re in the strike zone. Not a single one in his last ab was

A lotta mention of this Woodford guy. Why? If he’s good why ain’t he being used?

I recall earlier in the season, the Redirds would score a few run in the first couple of innings and then fail to tack on and hang anything else up on the board there-after. They haven’t displayed any propensity to do that lately and I hope they don’t revert back to that bad habit today. We’ll see what happens.

Kind of look like Telly Savalis of “who loves you baby” fame, Carter?

Redbird game din-din snack? A tin of Kipper snacks dashed with tobasco with soda crackers. A bit unorthodox for a baseball game, but pretty good as long as the heartburn don’t get me.

Good to see Stratton effective today. I think his previous few appearances didn’t go well. Maybe he and Q are trading off.

    Top of 5.

Knizner strikes out and this Machine Gun Kelly fellow is unfortunately settling in too nicely now.

    Nooty grounds out 3-1.

Donovan goes the other way and blisters a shot down the line in left and he’ll breeze into 2nd base with a double.

    Goldy whiffs.

    AZ 4
    STL 3

Kipper snacks laced with tobasco sauce with soda crackers for TD….. I’m not sure what to make of that little indulgence?

Carter, there is a thread on this page about as in depth as the encyclopedia britannica devoted to the Woodford topic. Take a peak and enjoy.

Nice stroke for the 2 base hit by Donovan. If he would have been placed in LF instead of Dickerson, we might not have had the E that allowed the run to score and the 4-3 AZ. lead.

Goldy’s bat looked slow against some hittable pitches by Kelly just then. Maybe hitting all those barrels lately has worn him out for today.

Someone mentioned Mikolas’nice hairline…It looks a little like Beethoven’s. I also noticed that when he pitches and takes his cap off, his hair remains perfect. How does he do it?

    Top of 6.

Arenado on 3-2 strikes out swinging, Machine Gun Kelly’s 4th K victim. Boy after those 3 quick runs in the 1st inning, who would ever have ever thought that we’d still be sitting on 3 runs in the 6th?

    Gorman on 3-2 walks.

    O’Neill strikes out

Dickerson spanks a liner to left for a base hit…. Gorman stopping at 2nd.

DeJong on 3-2 strikes out swinging.

    AZ 4
    STL 3

Carter Le Grand eating healthy tonight…..make note of Carter’s din-din, Rat.

CB Bucknor with a convoy of missed balls and strikes calls today.

That is the conundrum on Woodford, Carter. He has had success, more so than some guys who get the call a lot, yet he never gets many opportunities.
