ParticipantShould have took Garcia out before bellinger. Only pitches bellinger can hit is lower pitches. Garcia doesn’t throw a 4 seam fastball. Garcia got next out though. I just don’t know. Seems we are pushing it here with Garcia.
October 6, 2021 at 10:16 pm #174535Garcia got out of it. Two scoreless innings in the book.
October 6, 2021 at 10:16 pm #174536Garcia survives the 7th and gets 5 big outs for the Cards.
October 6, 2021 at 10:18 pm #174537I am so proud of this team.Go Cardinals!
October 6, 2021 at 10:18 pm #174538The offense needs to get something going here.
October 6, 2021 at 10:18 pm #174539Good one Euro- Garcia looked alot better this time, guess he needed an inning to get warmed up.

ParticipantWell after that steal with mookie up I was worried. But we got through it. Onto the 8th. Bottom hasn’t done much though there hasn’t been nobody on since 3-5 has really stunk.
October 6, 2021 at 10:19 pm #174542Not questioning Schildts moves.I’m in. Go Cardinals?
October 6, 2021 at 10:21 pm #174543Hit ’em where they ain’t — Carlson leadoff single in the 8th.
October 6, 2021 at 10:21 pm #174544Way to get things started Dylan!

October 6, 2021 at 10:27 pm #174546Whew! May have dodged a bullet there!
October 6, 2021 at 10:30 pm #174547Need Bader to do something here.

MrperkinsParticipantWhat was the challenge about? How close was Sosa’s linedrive to a hit? Gameday is not a good substitute for radio
October 6, 2021 at 10:31 pm #174549Haven’t had a big hit all game. It’d be nice to get the first one here. Go Bader! Go Cardinals!

The challenge was about Carlson going past 2B on the flyball and not retagging the bag on his way back to 1B after the catch. It was not clear if he did or not on the replays, so the Dodgers’ challenge was not confirmed. Cards might’ve caught a break. Taylor caught Sosa’s hit just above the ground falling forward. It was an awkward catch.
October 6, 2021 at 10:39 pm #174551Bader had a chance. Need to keep it tied.Go Cardinals!
October 6, 2021 at 10:45 pm #174552This is such an intense game. Are you guys hanging in there?
October 6, 2021 at 10:45 pm #174553Barely …
October 6, 2021 at 10:49 pm #174554I’m hanging gscott. Feels like I’m hanging from a bed sheet tied around my neck.
October 6, 2021 at 10:51 pm #174555DeJong makes the play! PDJ will lead us off! Go Cards!
October 6, 2021 at 10:52 pm #174556We’re too good to lose a game like this. I’m not worried in the least….well maybe just a little.
October 6, 2021 at 10:52 pm #174557Good, tight playoff baseball games are so intense. It’s why I would love to see the Cards advance to have more of it and probably why they’ll lose, haha. DeJong just makes a jumping snare of a line drive to move us onto the 9th tied. So there’s still a chance.

ParticipantDejong ice water in his veins, just off the bench with a big catch. Now go be a legend Dejong.
