Safe to say that no one thought it would be 1-0. Good job by Waino to get the next 3. 1-1, top of 5th with top of line up coming up. I’ll take it. Go Cardinals!
Tommy E. needs to get on base here leading off the 5th. 3 runs here would be a thing of beauty….. absolute beauty.
The thing is guys always or should always be sitting curve ball on waino. It speeds his fastball up a bit but not so much you can’t catch up to it unless he spots it high. But that curve ball was belt high so not that great a pitch.
One has to feel bad for Edman’s bats here tonight….. he’s abusing the heck out of them. Do teams deduct loot from players paychecks for bats they break? Could be in the fine print of all ML contracts.

O’Neill with a bad AB after Edman and Goldy got on to start the inning. Swung at a couple really bad ones. Still a good opportunity, really need to tally off Max this inning. And Max just got pulled, Joe Kelly coming in.
Scherzer gets rewarded for striking out O’Neill by getting the hook. Our old pal, Joe Kelly, getting the call. How about we treat our old friend unfriendly here? Need Arenado to produce in this situation.
Well I think Roberts did us a favor. Nobody has really squared up a ball on sherzer since Goldy’s opposite field hit. I think doing that against Kelly is a lot easier.
Really smart base running play there by Edman. Should be routine, but most runners run right into a DP on plays like this.
Well of we don’t win this game, it’s our 3-5 that didn’t get the job done. Oneil and arenado just look lost. Carlson has worked counts but hasn’t really done anything with it.
Only hits so far by Edman and Goldy Euro. Looking like the rest if the orders disappeared so far. Com’on Mannnn!
