ParticipantWinn’s hit grade is 45. Another Kozma? I don’t get it.
June 11, 2020 at 5:01 pm #130253bccran
ParticipantWinn has “makeup” concerns. Great.
June 11, 2020 at 5:05 pm #130255June 11, 2020 at 5:06 pm #130256bccran
ParticipantWinn was sent home early from the inaugural PDP league in July. The reason for his “makeup’ concerns.

they may have drafted him as a pitcherJune 11, 2020 at 5:11 pm #130260One of the guys in the MLB channel said that Winn is a high energy guy who plays with the joy of Francisco Lindor??? Definitely a nice thought to dream on.
June 11, 2020 at 5:12 pm #130262crappp dodgers got Landon Knack
doggone it, right Grenadier?
June 11, 2020 at 5:15 pm #130264bccran
ParticipantIf they drafted Winn as a pitcher, okay. Little guy with a fairly big arm. But still.
June 11, 2020 at 5:17 pm #130265yea, even shorter than Burl Carraway
June 11, 2020 at 5:21 pm #130267bccran
ParticipantGrab Bedell from Mizzou.
June 11, 2020 at 5:21 pm #130268Interesting that Wynn was the 54th prospect by MLB.com and the Cardinals took him at 54.
June 11, 2020 at 5:24 pm #130270Tink Hence, smallish high school pitcher
so far high school, high school, high school
June 11, 2020 at 5:24 pm #130271bccran
ParticipantAre you kidding? 3 high school kids?
June 11, 2020 at 5:25 pm #130272bccran
ParticipantThis is turning into a joke. Sorry, JMHO.
June 11, 2020 at 5:25 pm #130273June 11, 2020 at 5:26 pm #130274So far both picks are Arkansas signees.
June 11, 2020 at 5:27 pm #130275best name in the draft?
Markevian Hence
June 11, 2020 at 5:28 pm #130276I think we can safely say Flores is “Zigging when everyone else is Zagging.”
June 11, 2020 at 5:28 pm #130277bcc that is way over the top.
June 11, 2020 at 5:31 pm #130279#70 of our trio of picks grouped together coming very shortly
I like how this 2 minutes per pick moves things along very quickly
June 11, 2020 at 5:37 pm #130281bccran
ParticipantWay over the top, GC? Read up on #84 ranked Hence and let me know why we drafted him at #63. He’s a skinny little high school kid with no real outstanding talents. Still 17 years old. You want to give him at $1 million bonus?
June 11, 2020 at 5:42 pm #130283Rays….Alika Williams, SS, Arizona State at #37
Cards…Alec Burleson, OF, East Carolina at #54
advantage Cards
(we got Liberatore)
huge advantage Cards IMO
as they discuss this they love Burleson’s lefty swingJune 11, 2020 at 5:44 pm #130284I mean I won’t take mlbnetwork too seriously but if they’re calling the cards class their favorite class right now, it can’t be that bad!
June 11, 2020 at 5:45 pm #130285Keith Law had Hence at #41
41. Markevian “Tink” Hence, RHP, Watson Chapel (Ark.) HS, Age: 17Hence is one of the youngest prospects in the draft, as he won’t turn 18 until August, but is already 92-96 mph with a hammer curveball, along with a two-seamer, slider and changeup. He’s very athletic with a strong lower half, but his narrow frame means he doesn’t have the same projection as many other high school pitchers. There hasn’t been a big leaguer drafted out of an Arkansas high school since Travis Wood in 2005, one of just two from the last 20 drafts (Dustin Moseley, 2000), so Hence is facing long odds. He has such a strong arsenal for a 17-year-old and enough athleticism that some team is likely to take him in the top two rounds.
