Ahhh RBIs that all important stat. They overpaid. He has become a diva. They should have let him walk after the option year. We don’t know what Kelly is or is not. He was one of my favorite Cardinals but his attitude this year sucks. Accept the aging process…let the manager decide who plays where and when. Play it forward and be a mentor and a leader not a whiny aging player.
bccran can you expand on what do you mean by this…After every Cardinals loss, there’s a certain “element” that just has to blame it on the manager.?

BCCRAN, so Friday when they triples and homers that was the manager not the players. So what is the manager’s job?
He fails time after time. The odds of him giving up the run were high good pitch or not he failed and the manager put him in a position to fail.
Poor misunderstood Matheny. You can have the board I bow out. Obviously other than blind loyalty to the Cardinals manager and front office is frown upon. That’s not me. I love the Cardinals but will never be blind to their shortcomings anymore that I try not to be to mine. You and Jager have made it very clear that it is your way or the highway.
