Goldy has done everything wrong at the plate tonight. Struck out with a runner on third. Kills a rally with a DP.

Rockies with the same problem. A leadoff triple leads to a K, a play at home to get the runner, and a flyout—no run to tie.
Goldy, you gotta do better than that. In that situation, getting the ball to the outfield is the minimum acceptable…because that’s what “elite” batters do. Hitting into a dp is a failure even if it did score a run.
Goldy might be the least clutch player you could buy for 26 million dollars. At least he can field first base
Mike schildt is a loser. Sorry but I’m saying it. I won’t use profanity but I want to. Andrew Miller again and again. That guy SUCKS. Mike schildt sucks
with all his struggles in SEPTEMBER, why would you bring in Miller knowing you need outs with no runs scoring but yet pull Flaherty with a 1 run lead knowing hes your best chance to win just because he lost his no hitter. That tells me Schildt is looking to pull his starter as soon as he can.
Well, those two runs won’t count against Miller They should. He has allowed five runs of his own and two for Brebbia in his last 2.0 innings. Right now, we can’t afford to let him see the mound again. I think we have him signed through next year. Ouch.
