This team has won their last game of the year. Book it.
Just pathetic.September 28, 2019 at 7:52 pm #109076I am with you Wooster.
September 28, 2019 at 7:53 pm #109077Wainwright throwing a shade below batting practice caliber. This season ending is becoming comical, but not in a laughing sort of way. Stay the course guys.
September 28, 2019 at 7:58 pm #109078Cards offense needs to step it up big time.
September 28, 2019 at 7:59 pm #109079Ozuna: defensive effort is optional. To be fair to him, he might have good reason. Some of his sillier looking moments have come when gave high defensive effort.
September 28, 2019 at 8:00 pm #109080Good for Bader!
September 28, 2019 at 8:00 pm #109081Thats funny Euro!
September 28, 2019 at 8:02 pm #109082Bad boy Bader with a dinger! Yowza! That should make 1984 happy!
September 28, 2019 at 8:05 pm #109083Make 1982 Willie happy!
September 28, 2019 at 8:06 pm #109084I would like to see Schildt get behind his players more even if he thinks they’re wrong like 3rd strike that’s called a ball or a ball that’s called a strike which a hitter believes was a ball. Show a little animation, and not just stand there on the top step waiting to pull a pitcher.
September 28, 2019 at 8:06 pm #109085DeJong looks lost and sad, anyone else want to join the “I’d include DeJong in a heartbeat for Lindor” bandwagon?

stlcard25ParticipantDeJong looks lost and sad, anyone else want to join the “I’d include DeJong in a heartbeat for Lindor” bandwagon?
Already there. Unfortunately, I think the league already knows the deal with Dejong and he’s probably going nowhere.
September 28, 2019 at 8:11 pm #109087Could the offense be about to wake up? Two runners on after the Bader tater and cubs are going to the pen.
September 28, 2019 at 8:11 pm #109088I would not be so quick to let him go.
Coming into tonight Delong had 656 plate appearances. This is second only to Goldschmidt. I think his problem is that he is tired. He plays almost every inning of every game while playing one of the most demanding positions.
I think obtaining a back up that spell Paul every once in awhile would help him immensely.
September 28, 2019 at 8:11 pm #109089A few of us had mentioned being in favor of signing Hamels…. I’m gonna take the “not happening” gut feeling on that now…..
September 28, 2019 at 8:14 pm #109090Way to go Tommy!
September 28, 2019 at 8:16 pm #109091can we just clone Edman?
September 28, 2019 at 8:17 pm #109092Edman whacks another triple and scores 2, the kid comes through! Yowza!
September 28, 2019 at 8:18 pm #109093Infuriating. Edman gives us a chance, runner on third, three runs in, and Goldy can’t even get a fly or ground ball to bring the fourth run home?
September 28, 2019 at 8:18 pm #109094Damn! I left my heart in Arizona?
September 28, 2019 at 8:20 pm #109095Cards do chip away, but should’ve been more. Goldy is money, isn’t he?
September 28, 2019 at 8:22 pm #109096another run would have been nice but were back in it. Now our bullpen needs to hold him and our offense needs to get behind Waino and give him a N.D.
September 28, 2019 at 8:22 pm #109097At least Ozuna gave it a ride. Starting to wonder about all the Goldy hype there last week. Teams been dead ever since. Waats up wid dat?
September 28, 2019 at 8:23 pm #109098Good news is that the Redbirds chipped away at the lead. Only down three now.
Bad news is that they were unable to score Edman from third. Way too many strike outs by hitters in the middle of the line up.
September 28, 2019 at 8:27 pm #109099nice shut down inning by Webb, lets get a couple more runs.
